But its not done while nose up .. Its a major PS error ! whereas the multiple bomb ejector rack is also missing.
I conveyed the query to a very senior PAF Viper commander, albeit he didn't say the image was authentic, none the less, this was his reply.

Dear ****** Sb,

Happy New Year.

It’s nice to know that you get into these details.

Bombs can be delivered in Toss bombing mode. I can tell you the details when we speak.

Regards,

*******.

Hi,

It is not delivery at nose up---but after the bombs are ejected---the aircraft makes an abrupt turn and climbs---so it is an illusion.

P{lz rememnber---the bombs are still tarvelling the speed of the aircraft right after ejecteion.

Toss or lob mode is designed to extend the range of the bomb whilst keeping the delivery aircraft from enemy fire. It involves the aircraft coming in at high speed and then generating a steep pull when releasing the bombs; much like what one would do with a javelin.

Not as accurate as CCRP or CCIP but it helps in getting bombs close enough. When couples with GPS or Laser guidance however, it is a fairly neat away to keep the aircraft away from fire whilst making sure of an accurate hit.

So we agree that this is a legit delivery and not just a publicity shot.
@Oscar , i like the Javelin theory, so instead of going into a nose dive, the bomb travels in an arc shape, if i'm correct, the Americans adopted the same method during cold war for nuclear weapon delivery from their B-58 Hustlers, saw a video which showed that after release, while the weapon was still travelling up, the bomber was heading home out of harms way.

Hope we dont have to see those F7's and Mirages for too long, other than in a museum.
