PAF constructing 600 houses for flood victims

KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in the first phase was constructing 600 houses for the flood victims in the country.
This was stated by Air Vice Marshal Arshad Quddus, Air Officer Commanding, Southern Air Command PAF, when he called on Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, at C.M. House here on Thursday.
He discussed matters of mutual interest and informed the Chief Minister Sindh that Pakistan Air Force was constructing 600 houses in first phase for flood affected people in the country, out of which 100houses are being constructed in Sindh province.
He said that the houses with latest package are being constructed and the same will be given to the affected people.
Air Vice Marshal informed that lists of affected people are being finalized in consultation/recommendations of respective DCOs / EDOs (Revenue) of the province while notables of areas are also being coordinated.
He further informed that those houses are being constructed simultaneously across the country. He also informed that next phase will be started later.
Chief Minister Sindh appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Air Force and hoped that maximum houses will be built and provided to flood affected people.
