PAF Mirage's (Serial# 302, 583)
Notice the long nose of two seater and smaller nose of single seater on the right.
I guess it's just to deal with the extended fuselage that accompanies the twin seater.
They are too old to be spent upon.
The 583 is equipped with the Grifo M series radar the ROSE upgraded version, while the twin seater version seems to be from the OCU unit to have been converted to a refueling training aircraft. Twin seater is most probably the ex-Australian Mirage III D or the VD version i believe.
congrats guys.............
u hav did it !!!
I was talking about how twin seater Mirage is having a longer nose....maybe to offset the aerodynamic properties that might arise due to lengthened fuselage.
But where are its refueling pods ?
You can hang dedicated pods with an extendable basket on just about any heavy-lift airplane. The US Navy even did it with dedicated fighters with pods slung under each wing.
