maybe both. the feature of low IR and stealth against radar of the Z-10 is something that no other gunship has and as such, would probably be kept highly secret.

Think about it; it PA didn't have any intention of procuring the Z-10 then it wouldn't have displayed it in action during the military exercises.

well ATAK CEO recently claim that they will sell T-129 to Pakistan in coming months. . plus i wont disagree that Z-10 is a good Attack Helicopter, but we already Purchased AH-1z and Mi-35 ..
and now two more type of Helicopters for same roles will be expensive and logictical nightmare

well ATAK CEO recently claim that they will sell T-129 to Pakistan in coming months. . plus i wont disagree that Z-10 is a good Attack Helicopter, but we already Purchased AH-1z and Mi-35 ..

true. But again, as I said earlier, the features stealth and low IR that the Z-10 offers is something that no other gunship offers. The very nature of these features dictates that we keep it a secret only to increase the stealth.

Think practically; the enemy would be able to see over its sensors the AH-1s, Mi-35s and T-129 and would therefore take some measures of protection. If they don't know that we even have the Z-10s, they would never know where they could get hit from.

It does look out of Star Wars but it is a less than optimal design. But given the probable price I'm sure it's great bang for the buck.

Here in the US the push right now is in making HMDS smaller and lighter. Eventually they want to move all the hardware they can off the helmet. As you can imagine that giant weight on your head is very bad for your neck, especially if you're in a fighter jet pulling g's or God forbid ejecting.

don't see why can't PA wait. Not like your gonna ever "eject" from a helicopter!
Planes are a different story.

Mi35 is not as good as Z10 just like a Z10 which CANNOT do the job of a Mi35!! Please do not mix tank with APC/IFV!!

PA is interested in so many platform of helos and acquiring all of them in various numbers.
Z10- 3 received and being tested.
Ah1z- contracted was done back in few years and will start getting deliveries in late 2017.
T-129- There are rumors, is being tested in Pakistan by PA.
Mi-35-Contract was done for four and reports are there that PA is interested to increase initial number of units.
Mi 28NM- PA showed interest as well

If PAA had received 3 and have tested them ruggedly and are still looking at T-129, this means Z-10 lacks something that T-129 offers. Keeping in mind the sanction issue that T-129 has and still we have yet not chosen Z-10 over them, something is fishy here.

Whether Z-10 or T-129 or both, there will be no problem for Pakistan regarding sanctions as both China and Turkey are tested friends.
