Do I need to embarrass you by posting Youtube videos showing poor Bangladeshis caught red handed, stripped naked, humiliated, beaten to almost death by foreign border security forces, weeping in pain and asking the God to save him while crossing the border to smuggle cows?

I could have posted the videos and it would not have violated forum rules but I decided not to. You know why? Because I just didn't want to insult a helpless poor nation where people have become so desperate to survive that they risk their lives by smuggling cattle across international border, let alone those unfortunate Bangladeshis who die in a wholesale manner in factories which manufacture goods for foreign companies but don't bother about giving minimum safety to the workers which they treat like insects. I could have posted the videos, news reports and asked you to see the Bangladeshis who may put a mirror in front of you. If you ask me to post, I will.

North Koreans are poor, they starve ---- these are true. But at least they have the power not to be harassed by even the superpower let lone being beaten mercilessly by any any foreign country's forces even outside their border. Heck, the US marines even can't think about touching a single hair of a DPRK citizen neither in the Pacific nor in the Atlantic.

DPRK after all is a nuclear power.

Also, nowhere I claimed all Indians are rich, nowhere I claimed Indian societies are not plagued by social evils.

BD GDP( nominal) 113.85 billion per capita income $700.59 ( as of 2011 info)
BD GDP (nominal) 123 billion (as of 2012 info) per capita hit $923 ( as of 2013 info)

according to your link World Bank in 2005, 40% of the population was still be below the national poverty line. so majority is now started to enjoy better life. btw that info is about 8 years old. @Enemy
