Uddhav doesn't have it in him to get out of his little pond in Maharashtra & expand in other parts of India. He is just surviving 'cause of his father's legacy. He should rather leave HYD to BJP instead of throwing spanner in the works! Owaisi influencing Muslim votes in other part of India is good for BJP. I wish he spreads his wings in UP, Bihar & WB. So called secular flag bearers in that part of India will suddenly find themselves in a competition against a fellow secular!

I see a potential Bal Thackeray in Raj Thackeray, if only he takes the mantle of Shiva sena and ditch his MNS and his Anti-Immigrant stance,he can spread Shiv sena in South India very effectively.

The so called secular parties in Maharasthra and UP,Bihar are wary of Owaisi they are calling ban on his entry into their states.It is good for BJP.

Mumbai: All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimin (AIMIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi has dared Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray to hold a rally in his bastion, Hyderabad.

"What kind of tiger Uddhav is that he doesn't go outside of Mumbai, Look at me, I am from Hyderabad but I travel everywhere. If Uddhav has guts, he should come to Hyderabad," Owaisi said while addressing a rally On Monday for East Bandra assembly-bypoll.

"We have made our presence felt in politics of Maharashtra. I challenge Uddhav to contest from Hyderabad and defeat us," he added.

Owaisi said that whatever Uddhav is today, is just because of his father. "He has not seen the outer world. He considers himself a tiger in Mumbai but this is not the reality."

He also termed Congress candidate Narayan Rane, who is contesting from here, a low profile goon.

MIM surprised everyone last year by winning 2 seats in Maharashtra Assembly elections. The party is pinning high hopes on Bandra East assembly seat where polling will take place on April 11.

Rane is pitted against Shiv Sena's Trupti Sawant, the widow of former MLA Bala Sawant, and MIM's Rahbar Khan. The by-election was necessitated by the death of Sena MLA.

In October 2014, Sena's Bala Sawant had got 41,388 votes and had defeated BJP's Mahesh Parkar by 15,000 votes. While Khan received 23, 976 votes in 2014 assembly elections and was placed third, BJP and Congress got 25,791 and 12,229 votes respectively.

That's true! Raj Thackeray has more in common with Bal Thackeray than Uddhav! Then again... both of them likes to have all for themselves!

He cannot suppress his ambition for the sake of Secular parties everytime. Basically its Every man for himselves in Secular parties.Neither do they have the unity, nor goal,they just gather under the banner of Opposition just for the sake of opposing BJP which has Unity and goals.
KCR in TG thinks by appeasing MIM he can poach some minority vote bank,what Owaisi thinks is he will use KCR to get his wish list fulfilled and then take the credit himself and thereby consolidating and spreading his minority vote bank.
It's like two people talking nicely face to face while having daggers drawn behind their backs, when will one strike another only they can decide.

Internal bickering of Shiv Sena and fights between thackerays spoil their chances of expansion.
