Overseas Pakistanis, backbone of Pakistan's economy. But what about the right to vote and respect?

There is one way; hard one but have potential of putting things in place. Overseas Pakistanis should stop sending remittances to Pakistan for at-least a year. The establishment do whatever in power for few million dollar aid when it comes down to running Pakistan. 6-8 percent GDP cut is not what they can take. After coming to terms and deciding framework with the establishment against corruption, nepotism, judicial system/policing system, migration/foreign policy, VOTING RIGHTS!! Pakistanis should resume the remittances back home.

So at the end of day, Pakistan has to suffer? Honestly, it doesn't make no difference if we all are gonna keep making mistakes. This is not how it should be tackled down. I am not saying, it wouldn't work. It will but we need to make things work out without going into extremes .

That's the point, in my opinion, currently hard earned remittances are being used for what? Corruption? Mismanagement? and what not. If threatened, for cutting a big chunk of GDP, demands for good governance and institution building and other things that i mentioned before can be met "by force".

I wholeheartedly support the right for overseas Pakistanis to vote. If i can vote from here, it will save me considerable time and money which i will have to bear by travelling to Pakistan just to cast my vote.
