Outcome of Indo-Pak warfare – CIA reveals that India suffered more casualties and losses.

1. Casualties: Killed, Captured, Missing, Wounded in Action.

Pakistan: 3000-5000 out of 189,000 strength.
India: 4000-6000 out of 942,000 strength.

2. Armor Losses:

Pakistan: 250 Tanks out of 900
India: 300 Out of 1500

3. Aircraft Losses:

Pakistan: Lost fewer aircrafts. [PAF lost 19 aircrafts]
India: Lost more aircraft than Pakistan. [IAF lost more than 75 aircrafts]

Report concludes that Pakistan outperformed Indian Air Force.

4. Territorial Gains:

Pakistan: 210^2km of Indian territory, mostly strategically important, including key Military areas.

India: 320^2km of Pakistani non strategic territory, as its blitzkrieg in Sialkot and Lahore failed.

Conclusion:

India had an "inconsequential" advantage due to the size of its military. Pakistan succeeded in bringing International intervention on Kashmir issue.

result was disastrous for pakistan , bangalis got emboldened and started their freedom movement .

Indians when an atlas of the 1971 war by the USA states Pakistan made gains in Punjab and Kashmir while India gained barren hills and sand: I sleep
Indians when this document says India won in some aspects of the 1965 war: Real shit

what is use of it all ? the purpose of 1965 was getting kashmir ,which failed miserably .

One Indian had the guts to comment "Destroyed".

If you kill more of enemy soldiers, around 2000 more than your own, despite having 753,000 less soldiers to fight.

In those days that figure of excesses Indian force alone was close to 1:4 and in total strength of 1:5 of the Indian army.
The result should have been complete destruction of Pakistani army.
Imagine if Pakistan had 942,000 and Indians have 189,000 strength of their army!!
Pakistanis would have obliterated Indian army, with the strength of their numbers and armour.

Same for armour:

900 Pakistani tanks destroyed 300 Indian tanks. that a percentage of 33.34% of their force strength.
1500 Indian tanks destroyed 250 Pakistani tanks that a percentage of 16.67% of their force strength.

Aircraft Losses:

Pakistan's losses were only 25% of Indian losses. Despite Indians having strength in numbers.
Once again if Pakistan had numbers advantage, it would have obliterated Indian Air Force completely.
In any event killing 75 birds compared to your 19 losses is remarkable result.

If we consider other geopolitical situations and arms supplies. It is clear Indians suffered a crushing defeat.

But stupid Indians still shout that they win the war.
IF we analyse any war between India and Pakistan the result is the same.
But funnily Indian win all the wars.
At least in their heads.
Mate your %figure is not clear to me.
The quoted finding clearly states the conclusion.

All in all gist of the document is india won the 1965 war comprehensively, but there was uninspiring lessons to be learnt for india in future conflicts.
At least this help in correcting the delusion of many pakistani friends here about who won the 1965 war.

It is same document OP is quoting from.
Shows you did not bothered to open and read.
no need who knows what his intention, but we know our indian neighbours never straight forward.
with your size of population and area with unlimited resources gain 100kms if this is your win then its depressing.
i think some indian needs to check reality or follow some of your own indian sane analytics.

But you feel the need to accuse other of typing this document.

who knows what his intention,
Whatever his intentions are at least now delusion is over about who won 1965 war.

100 sq km was never our objective as 1965 was not started by india. So you failed again. India was defending, not on offence.

it was definitely india starter as well as 71, i cud use an excuse when indian aircraft came to Pakistani airspace in zardari time which he let it go by saying something technical maneuverability, then balakot where indian came to drop payload and kill 6 of our tree.
how about reason to start war with SirG kal strike which mody thought he have achieved the world.
line of control is not a border but india cross border in 71 and supporting mukhtibahni, then attack mainland like in 65 operation in kashmir but india attacked main border.
with the size of army and support indian didnt gain anything matter fact Pakistan got a chance to highlight Kashmir.
