China has put on hold building work in a disputed area of its border with India as part of an agreement to end the two-month military stand-off with its neighbour, but will maintain patrols in the area, according to Chinese diplomatic analysts.

Well done, Little China. Keep patrolling - we give you permission for that.

That's SCMP bhai.. According to a ANAL lyst? What is the official word, we want to know why is MEA silent on this? If there was an agreement to stop work, they would have said it out loud like a proud Indian. They didn't. There is something fishy going on.

Like 65, 71 and Kargil - all won by Pakistan.

yes

65 where we were smashing you in kashmir so badly that you shamelessly attacked a major populated city to try snd stop the beating only ending up i having your forces destroyed by a country 7 times smaller

kargil where a handful of soldier's occupied vital part of occupied Kashmir (still holds vital peaks) and drove the indian military out, if it wasent for your crying, weak politicians responding to international pressure what would you gave done?

in 1971 you got involved in a civil war where we couldn't even supply our soldier's, this is your pinnacle in the last thousand years of hindu history

.
This is what International Strategic think tanks are thinking:

Right across the Indo-Pacific, India's balance of firmness and diplomacy may well become a case study in handling Chinese coercion.
Sure.

please explain, can you please let us know who gave countless warnings?
Considering that China has yet to pull back its troops, despite Indian requests. International media, such as the BBC, are pretty much telling China's narrative, not India's.

Yes, I've heard all 3 narratives before. Fanciful, as always. Shame fiction and history are not the same on the rest of the planet outside Pakistan.

Q: Could you tell us that how many Chinese soldiers are still deployed at the Dong Lang area?

A: This is a very specific question. What I can tell you is that The Chinese border troops continue with their patrols and stationing in the Dong Lang area. China will adjust and deploy its military resources in accordance with the need of guarding the border and the situation on the ground.

You can claim that we're coward to hide something or maybe we just do India a face saving favor by not explicitly clarify the content of the talk...you never know.

i won't comment on cowardice or bravery. but is the road to nowhere worth bad blood with India ?
