Sharifs and Zardaris have destroyed the army. This level of nepotism will eat into the professionalism and give it another 10 years it will become as dysfunctional as the politicians. Sharifs and Zardaris are the worst thing that has happened to Pakistan.

increase your history knowledge.

Jinnah and Fatimah Jinnah history.

I am not in Pakistan so I don't know.

I just follow the news on twitter or here on PDF.

Has the mass media campaign to paint PTI as anti-state having an affect?

Relentless propaganda 24/7 across all major T.V stations.

Are the people really buying this crap about this ransacking of the CC house as Pakistan's 9/11?

Even till a month ago no one would have expected that Asim Munir and his henchmen would escalate the conflict to this level.

Imran Khan was doing politics as is normal in Pakistan. He resigned from the Punjab and KPK assemblies expecting that the constitutional requirement of elections in 90 days would be followed. He's been attending courts knowing that the charges against him are fake. His supporters were insulting their opponents on social media and the other party were insulting PTI back, which is normal.

Then Asim Munir and the generals broke the norms of Pakistani politics by declaring war on the people of Pakistan. They escalated the conflict to an extreme level. They're doing things that people did not expect.
  • Repeatedly trying to kill the leader of the biggest political party in Pakistan
  • Arresting the leadership of PTI
  • Trying to ban Pakistan's biggest political party
  • Humiliating and sexually torturing senior PTI senators
  • Ignoring orders of the Supreme Court
  • Treating the constitution as non-existent
  • Refusing to hold elections
  • Launching armed assaults on the homes of Imran Khan and PTI leaders and supporters
  • Torturing and killing journalists
  • Preventing peaceful political rallies
  • Shutting down the internet and social media
  • Kidnapping social media activists
  • Killing PTI supporters on a large scale
  • Committing outrages against women
    • Brutally arresting female protestors
    • Kidnapping women and not presenting them in court
    • Kidnapping the wives of men they want to arrest
  • Using agent provocateurs to attack and burn govt. property to blame PTI
  • Torturing PTI supporters and getting statements from them denouncing PTI
  • Activating obscurantist religious fanatics to intimidate Supreme Court judges
  • Threatening to burn down the houses of Supreme Court judges
Pakistan has dirty politics, but all these things are beyond what was the norm previously.

Imran Khan and PTI were making decisions based on the old norms. They would not have expected that the whiskey generals would start behaving like mad dogs. They expected that when they disbanded the assemblies that elections would be held in 90 days, that the establishment will follow the constitution, accept order of the courts etc.

The leaders and supporters of PTI would not have expected that they would be arrested and tortured. Young social influencers, both male and female, would never have expected that they would be kidnapped and tortured. Females would not have expected that they would be kidnapped and abused by thugs.

So, Whiskey and his generals and the PDM criminals have set a new standard for Pakistani politics, which is not politics but making war on an enemy. One that leads to nothing short of a bloody ending for one side or the other.

It's hard to see how we can go back to the old normal without the criminals in the army and their civilian partners being brought to justice or fighting a civil war.

Why are the army unwilling to back IK? I don't understand. He has the biggest political party in the country and well respected abroad. In his tenure the army were lauded especially how they worked together after balakot strikes. It would be win win. Why have they totally turned against him?

He was planted by Dirty Harry, he was not religious extremist but was a mol of lumber 1
You call patriotic people if anybody keep religion first than country. Pakistan should be first priority. Don't betray own country. National anthem should be first .

So Adil Raja was right, once again.
You haven't seen anything yet... This is just a prelude of things to come. They are even arresting supporters of Pak Army from Twitter who actually tweeted in support of Pakistan because they were following one or two pro PTI accounts, they have gone insane. This is MARTIAL LAW in but name!

Done and dusted sir, Civil Admin has capitulated to allowing Military courts under 245 of the Constitution. Whatever way they package it, this is MARTIAL LAW (Pepsi Light Edition).

Professors who came from abroad to teach here are picked up and tortured for excercising a democratic right.

Way to go chaps.

Jo ginay chunay parhay likhay log mulk main hai unhain bhi bhaga do.

Enjoy ruling over a mob of bher bakrian, aur phir har saal 14 August par ISPR songs ki batti bana kar andar lay lena.
Sir itni besti ke baat hain. They are on a collision course and they still decide to proceed at ramming speed! Remember what I said about them wanting to make an example out of IK, PTI et.al? Consensus is that as per seniors who are more in the know than me, COAS and a few others who have banded around him want this to be a teaching point, something that will be talked about in the history books.

This kind of insanity was not seen even in martial laws. This is like what some of the worst regimes do. Or the tactics that israelis use on Palestinians and what indians do in IIOK.

Army is just the guy at the top.

The guy at the top made a deal to be the Army Chief.

The guy at the top fears being the only General in Pakistani history to be fired first from his position as ISI chief and now COAS.

The rest is just noise about national interests and any critical analysis before these decisions are taken.

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one. People asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "By preventing him from oppressing others."

One of PTI`s mistake which is hurting us

And what is it with you? You do not fight in the cause of Allah and for oppressed men, women, and children who cry out, “Our Lord! Deliver us from this land of oppressors! Appoint for us a saviour; appoint for us a helper—all by Your grace.” Surah nisa (the women) 4:75
