Is this the reward for being democratically elected?
lets say that iranian people want a secular state and leader is this possible ? without blood in the streets of course with a vote
i am not a fan of western democracy if i ever choose between a putin or obama i would choose putin i was one of the people protesting in 25 jan not for a simple vote but to make my country better and el sisi is making the country better then i support him to the end simple as that
There is a saying, the worst of democracy is still better than the best of dictatorship. I am not saying this from a judgemental point, Pakistan itself has had serious problems with dictators taking over. Even now, whenever people don't like an elected government, they foolishly start shouting in the streets for military to take over. Egyptian military is respected by Egyptians just as Pakistani military is in Pakistan, but i feel military prowess should not be mixed with political capability.

i dont disagree with all you said but in reality these days it is not that simple for example in syria and libya if the people knew what is to come would they acted the same way they did. we in Egypt have a chance to protect our country many mistakes were made but considering what we are facing we are doing more than ok

The coup leader, Sisi has joined bunch of other backward dictatorships to bomb Yemen with the same excuse, preventing a 'coup'.

That's the biggest irony here.

Here's another Irani who suddenly loves the Muslim Brotherhood.

We all know as soon as Morsi came to power than Iran sent over a delegation to see if they could open up another terrorist front against Israel using Egypt's assistance.

Luckily your plans are now in ruins.

Screw the Muslim brotherhood, I don't care about them, my point is the hypocrisy involved here.

Where's the hypocrisy?

Morsi came to power, he and his cronies screwed up, the people wanted them out and Sisi was then elected.

Nothing like the situation in Yemen.

Hadi 'elected; in a single candidate election and won with 99.8% of votes, he screwed up and people wanted him out and he is out. It's actually much worse than Egypt.

Failing to see the hypocrisy only because you don't like Houthis is the bigger hypocrisy.

Houthis are a minority in Yemen who had their own semi-autonomous area and then decided to overthrow the government and capture all Yemen's land with the help of a foreign power.

You'll need to stop being a blind supporter of the Mullahs to see your error. The two situations are not comparable at all.

How do you know Houthis don't have support of the majority? You have to stop talking about issues you have no clue about. There is no sectarian fight in Yemen except for Al-Qaeda, it's all about tribes in there, not sects, that's why too many Sunni tribes supported Houthis and that's why they could capture many cities without firing even a bullet.

Take your sectarian glass off and you'll be able to see the reality. In Yemen, people barely say you are Sunni, you are Shia, they say which tribe are you from?

Well he is a terrorist supporter/sympathiser, and he wanted to turn Egypt ino another islamic state where the muslim brotherhood dominates every aspect of egyt from military to economy to education etc. Egyptians seemed to have noticed this and immediately gathered to get rid of him before it becomes too late when he would have cemented his power. He was also sponsoring terror groups like Hamas and syrian rebels. So no surprise he got sentenced.

However, i think the Egyptian government should try and make peace with Muslim brotherhood(even though i know they are islamic radicals), and bring them into some sort of unity government/society, so Egypt can have peace. The only other option is to eradicate them competely(as quickly as possible, so it doesnt affect the country economically too much), so they dont pose any threat to the Egyptian state anymore. Hope Sisi will make the right choice and put Egypt back on track.

Wheres the proof?! You're Just blabbering.

Look at Alsisi, he ruled for two years. Egypts ranking fell in all aspects from financial to security.

If you accept the excuse that the MB are sabotaging the country (despite being in prison) then accept the excuse that Morsi tried his best but the deep state sabotaged his rule.

Mubarak and his kids are now free, even though he ruled for decades. Morsi ruled for one year gets sentenced for 20.

Blind biased Idiots. I have no sympathy for Egyptian sisi supporters, they deserve everything that is happening to them.

And to Sisi, give us back our "roooz" you shameless beggar.

Sisi banned elections in Egypt? No more elections?
