Ephesos is gigantic. The tour guide said back the it was 5 th largest city in our empire. They have digged out only a small part and leave most as it is at the moment because they ear they simply dont have the rescources at moment to conservate

Greek is someone whose language was dictated and imposed upon him by Byzantine Empire.
This is wrong. We "romans" see them as our little brothers. In a way its similar to USA.
The greeks atrted to build settlements in the italian peninsula and it was basicly a colony for greece...then the colony overpowered its former creator and became teh worldpower..
We romans saw the greeks as greate role models for art, science and philosophy. But we saw ourself as more powerful in evry way. While the greeks saw us as militaristic, culturless and clueless. We saw them as snobbs. Such things never change.
Ottoman Military Band in PakistanYenicheri band should come on Pakistan and Afghanistan tour
What you see in Greeks is irrelevant. Greek language is foreign to Anatolia and born in Europe, and was to limited aegean coastline during the age of antiquity.
Roman Empire occupied Anatolia incorporating it to Latin dominance. its successor Byzantine Empire introduced Greek language to inner Anatolia replacing former languages of Anatolia.
Anatolia is a grey zone. Never belonged a culture indefinetely.
