Ordinary people are also easily misled. We are ordinary people, and have no clue on the inside hanky panky dealings of the military and US. BUT, Think about this; the US found OBL in Pakistan, the same person the US declared war on after 9/11 and threatened every country harboring OBL's and his mates. But after the US "finds" OBL in Abbottabad Pakistan, Pakistan is NOT attacked. Pakistan's "Non Nato major ally" status still remains. US still continues to give aid to Pakistan, and so on.
-US then claimed that after the raid U.S. forces took bin Laden's body to Afghanistan for identification, then buried him at sea within 24 hours of his death in accordance with Islamic tradition. (Do you smell horse shi.t here?). I didn't know burying at sea was an "ISLAMIC TRADITION".
-US releases no video evidence of OBL's body, no proof of identification, no pictures released of his dead body.
- Accordingly to highly respected Seymour M. Hersh, Pakistani military must have had knowledge of the operation. And not only this, no fire-fight took place.
And there are other countless articles questioning the validity of the US claims.
In short, the falseness of this incident is right in front of everyone's face.
It is abundantly clear from the Abbottabad Commission Report that Osama Bin Laden moved around. 6 locations are pinpointed, including one in Afghanistan.
Even if Osama moved to Afghanistan in 2007, he had ample time to move to Abbottabad since. In-fact, he wasn't the only terrorist to seek refuge in Abbottabad, many others did. ISI learned about this movement and conducted a search operation in the region, nabbed Omar Patek from a compound in Abbottabad in 2010. Operation Neptune Spear occurred some months later. Omar Patek came to Abbottabad because he was tipped that Osama Bin Laden is there and they were planning to meet.
Honestly, I don't get the infatuation with dead body of Osama. Did they release a photo of dead bodies of so many terrorists they have killed so far? Other forms of information have surfaced that corroborate American account of assassination of Osama Bin Laden.
Osama Bin Laden was moving around because it was not safe for him to stay in a single region for a long time. He knew that CIA was after him. He knew that numerous Al-Qaeda operatives had been taken into custody and leads will be certain. Abbottabad was a brilliant choice for refuge because a city so far away from Afghanistan was unlikely to attract much attention. However, he underestimated the resolve of CIA.
Be glad that US did not attack Pakistan. However, I fear that Osama's episode is like an ACE up their sleeve. Sheer bad luck in our case.
Have you read Seymour's account? According to him, Pakistani state was providing shelter to Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad. However, a disgruntled Pakistani military official outed this matter to American authorities and they acted on his tip. Do you realize that Seymour is painting Pakistani establishment for working with most wanted terrorists?
Really shameful.
Conspiracy-lovers will cling to virtually any account to satiate their mindset.
