Donating organs after death is very much permissible in Islam. The difference of opinion is there but most scholars are agreed that it is permissible. I believe that it is a very noble deed and whoever is pursuing it may Allah give them great reward for it. The main thing is the intention and whoever does intend it to donate should intend to do it for the sake of Allah.

Me personally I feel it is great thing to do but I am still not sure whether I should do it or not. I am more tilted towards doing it and I think I will be up for it. As for donating it for science I wont be very comfortable with it. Whether it benefits another human being or it just goes with me. Hopefully this deed will turn out to be a source of hasanat after death and saqada jariah for our brothers.

Hello there. I wish to learn members views on organ donation after death. I have two questions to ask as follows:

1. Are you OK with donating your organs after death? if no, any particular reason for that?

2. How many organs you are willing to let go after death?

1. YES

2. two have been already listed on donation list and now I am keen on donating kidneys and heart as these are hard to find when needed BUT I am not sure how much it needs to be removed and preserved after death.

3. last but not the least I would like to donate my brain/tongue and fingers to Rondoos :D they might need it on PDF against Pakistan

I have joined the organ donor list here, will encourage everybody to do so. Till we get technology to artificially make human organs(we are not that far away), we will need organs from others.
If my organs can bring joy and life to another human being, I dont see any issues, I am dead anyway.

Bhai tereiii organs are like second-hand electronics equipment - Chal gai tou aaap kay.....na chaleii tou phir bhi aap kay !

In genuine cases organ donation is ok.... But i heard that, in many hospitals people are killed without mercy even when they have a fair chance for survival, just for money. How far it's really a good thing, i dont know...

I have been considering this for some time...... but havent worked on it to be honest...... I would like to donate it as many organ possible.....But i guess before deciding on it would like to know the opinion of my family too.......
I don't think your family will have any objections in this matter:agree:.Even if they are conservative Hindus/Christians(sorry for guessing your religion) i don't think they will oppose a cause as noble as this one.I know this because i have alredy gone through this experience myself:D.

It is not about the objection..... I am sure they will not object...... It is about taking it up with them.... :)
