The article is from TOI and it's the title of the article. While the content in the article doesn't say that Pakistan is close to top position, it just describes that in the last few years it has seen huge increase in the corruption. I have posted that article as there have been discussions in all most all topics about the corruption in the Government functionaries.

Please feel free to post such articles which are backed by valid facts. I don't mind to know more about my country. We are pretty much aware of the things that happen in the country as our media goes ga ga over every trivial issue.

If only at least the Prime Minister or President weren't corrupt themselves. If they turn things around, and make Pakistan better I can guarantee people will be willing to forgive Zardari. Otherwise as soon as that guy steps down its to the gallows for him. If he tries to escape INTERPOL won't be so nice.

He was from the start of his cricket career...and until now a trustworthy and truthful human!

Maybe this is the reason he isisnt given the post as they are all afraid that once he will come to power, Pakistan will be wiped out all of its corrupted officers and officials!

This arguments is the only criticism any body can do of him . He was young , smart ,handsome and on top of it a celebrity ,and because he was a celebrity cameras followed him everywhere . Each and every other politican of this country did/doing things which are far more sinister and disgusting morally but they were /are done behind close doors . I recommend a book 'parlaiment say bazar -e- husn tak' ...it has some very shocking revelations in it .

This argument against Imran has long lost its age for a sane and mature person.

The economy fell and has not recovered one bit since, the stocks are low, drone attacks on Pakistani soil, he's the most corrupt b@st@rd that ever lived, when Pakistan was under water he went to the UK to buy a 143 million pound house that too from money he stole from the state, he is weak and spineless, he lives large while his people suffer and he came through NRO democracy!

Obama ears about $400,00 a year, this guy has a net worth of $1.8 billion!!!
