Sir, i am trying to just help people understand how come PMLN wins election every year for last 40 years including 2018 in (central punjab) except for 199-2007 when mushi did rigging

China would be alarmed by the events in Pakistan. How the Americans are being able to overthrow a govt. in Pakistan with the support of media, corrupt political parties and pro-American elements in the Establishment should be a matter of concern for them.

If these elements succeed, their next target would be to roll back Chinese investments and slowly open to India.

To be very fair, China will prefer PMLN led govt. Though they will take PTI any day over PPP. PPP wants the one who handed over Gwader port control to Singapore port company on the directions of Americans in 2008.

If only the youth come out and vote. 45% of Pakistanis do not vote because voting is for those who benefit from the next government, MNAs MPAs.

Current situation does not look good. Alot of analysis are saying establishment is neutral and this is why JUI, PPP, PMLN are making noise. Pmlq, Mqm and BAP are waiting to see if IK and PTI are removed then what will the next PDM government give to them. All about the crores and kursi. If we look at the old elections, everyone knew Pti had big chance of winning and forming the government, this is why many MNAs jumped ship, PMLN was destroyed in Balochistan and BAP formed(they are PMLN in Balochistan but with a different name). Mqm always tries to go with the winning party and PMLQ the same, they want to blackmail IK for the CM kursi. Aleem Khan and Jahangir Tareen are also available. Overall situation makes it look like IK are in big trouble.

We are the only Nuclear power Muslim country. Whole Muslim world want us to take the lead and we are stuck in this petty political games. Riyasat will have to auto correct itself. these politicians are playing a dangerous game and if they don’t stop whole system will be shutdown.

China was embarrassed about kickbacks offered by Chinese companies and high interest loans taken by PMLN government for those kickbacks. Do you think they want PMLN? The whole reason for slow pace of CPEC was due to renegotiate of those loans by IK government. China would prefer IK over corrupt mafia who will sell their soul to the higher bidder. PMLN would stop CPEC on the pressure of Uncle Sam and MR. 10% would be willing to denuclearize Pakistan for few billons.

PMLN do get the things done. Uncle Sam has links with PPP only. Only thing China likes about Imran Khan is his ability to take on US pressure and have guts to say absolutely not to the Americans.

Anyways upcoming govt, minus Imran Khan will be a very unstable govt and even after elections this setup is more likely to remain unless PTI wins by 2-3rd majority which doesn't seem to happen.

It may come as a shock to many...
"Pakistan is a soft state by design"!!!...
Let that sink in... It makes for easier manipulation... circus keeps going and diversion/distraction becomes easy. Faces are changed or replaced as needed. People form new memories, new loyalties... the representation is never real... IT is ALWAYS superficial.
With new geopolitical realities these games may come to a head. Because of interests from parties involved and invested. Ones more invested may extract a price... remember IT IS NOT ABOUT PEOPLE OR DEMOCRACY, IT NEVER WAS!
If powers that be pull strings, things may get nastier... proper civil conflict even. Remember strings are pulled from outside and loyalists are house nigers! More loyal to master's cause than the master himself.

Remember structures when built form their own order and succession. They draw their own loyalties, affiliations and coercions/compulsions. It creates muscle memories with succession and a glass ceiling. One only puts full efforts to ascend in the established domain. Anything else or outside is dangerous, treacherous even...
So, Pakistanis feel a lot riding in the current discourse... there is and there isn't... it only matters on how you look at it.

All of this foreword to say just this thing that people in power do what they're designed to do... pain will increase as old wounds start opening up and those with agendas expose themselves.

Y'all were never prepared for this and have been conditioned to become effeminate and soft. Well, reality will feel scary and painful. And we are all in this together, drifting towards reality.

You'd think that the gravity of situation would give Pakistanis time to pause and reflect... it didn't!
Pakistan stands as the only soft state that is also a nuclear power.

The consequential nature of what just happened will only dawn on people over time. Imagine Russia pounding Ukraine and making it a pile of rubble for only posing a "future" threat to the well-being being of Russian federation.
Iraq was bombed back to stone age only because it was assumed they were "endeavoring" to make a nuke!
Libya destroyed! It's leader executed without even a sham trial.
North Koreans live in a hermit kingdom, but as a brass knuckle.

Pakistan, to the detriment of its own masses seems oblivious to what is heading it's way. A nuclear state cannot afford to be a banana republic, running on the whims and diktats of others... no such luxury. It must endeavor to carve it's own path... for that it must escape from clutches of it's former masters and shadow of nations/peoples it looks upto as trailblazers or role models. They are nothing but a mirage... mere optics!!!

Can you even imagine as Saddam of yore or as the current joker of Ukraine, any politician roaming streets of bombed out Pakistani cities? Showing bravado and resolve in perseverance? Could you? (Knowing that they all may use their power, prestige or money to get the first flight out)
Remember geopolitics is ruthless... it does not know your personal struggles or familial ties!!!

there will be no pakistan if that happened, a single attack will be enough to break pakistan into 4 different countries (5, considering gilgit). there is too much qoum parasti here (not a bad thing, but it overcomes all sense of greater good in pakistan).
