Corruption as you see in everyday life in South Asia is isolated in USA.
There's a lot of money that goes from the lobbyists to the politicians in the name of policy support and first amendment.

Some of the politicians when they fail to get reelected or retire they themselves then become lobbyists.
And Presidents after they become ex-president get lucrative speaking arrangements and write books for tens of millions of dollars.

However all those I mentioned above are transparent to everyone.
