Not many people love nawaz Sharif now. Personally I know of only some old farts that stuck with him for their own personal gain. Some of them claim to know him personally, it is enough for them to just be associated with him.

PMLN votes now mainly come from support of local MNAs that happen to hold PMLN tickets. Majority of our people can't see past their local area. Even my own family has this thinking, during local elections they will host a rally for Abid Raza who happens to PMLN MNA. Mind you they all support IK and hate nawaz, but on the local level they can't stop showing support for PMLN ticket holders who just happen to run things locally. Then there's the idiot voters, who say so and so build a road here so we will vote for them

However, central punjab was thriving in 2013-2017 give massive infrastructure projects like sahiwal coal plant and 3 b$ (1 trillion rupees in today) lahore metro train

Those projects were funded by 50b$ Chinese loans and 2b/yr of CSF+1.4b/yr of IMF funding with no questions asked

People are with PML-N who are against PPP and vice versa then PTI introduced and now people who are against PTI are in PML-N and those who are against PML-N are in PTI.
