I cannot and will not enter into bandying words and opinions on this. Except one, perhaps two, points, India had captured the others or reduced the uncaptured ones' defenders to starvation and exhaustion of ammunition due to attacks on their supply lines.

It was this inability to sustain the situation that pushed the military into putting a very reluctant Nawaz Sharif into a plane for Washington for a meeting with the American President on the 4th of July.

That sounds plausible and legit. But I'll have to look it up further.

The bottomline is that perhaps Pakistanis always lost their wars because of a cash crunch.

He is a sanghi troll in disguise.

LOL.

Bhai, I am never sure of my standing with you; you may be very sure of your standing with me, that is, love and affection for you as an individual, and outright disapproval of your views as a political and sociological thinker.

Did you mean that I was a Sanghi troll? If you did, I shall accept your remark, laugh, and move on.

No, because of tactical brilliance and less than schoolboy understanding of strategic consequences. The cash crunch is subsumed in the inability to work out the money needed to make their point in a military way when thinking about their strategy.

Each and every time.

I honestly did not - what gave you that idea? We had a civilized debate, the way it is meant to be! :what: I wouldn't have that sort of debate with the Sanghis here.

I just consider you somewhat "sleepy" that's why I gave you that Trump moniker. But you're definitely on the right track, and have the best interests of India in your heart which is very admirable.

No. Shantanu is a Sanghi troll.

Feels like India could only exist the way it has been existing, a secular, a-religious state which was tolerant and accommodating to all religions and Nations within. RSS, Modi and BJP's entire philosophy has fallen flat on its face and now the existence of India is under question.

It will take India 20-30 years to do undo what Nirandra mode has done and if India wants to survive, it must start it now!

I never, EVER thought I would agree with you. I do, wholly, without reserve.

No. Shantanu is a Sanghi troll.

In my dialect, zigaite lagey toh.

That was addressed to Afrazul, by the way; he has sometimes said very salty things to me. I just wanted to reassure him that ours was an asymmetric relationship. I acknowledge ties to him that he may not reciprocate, and that is fine.

Afrazul still doesn't get it. We are on HIS side but he should quit his Hinduphobic remarks. Only Hindus (or ex-Hindu leftists like me) can bash Hinduism.

All i can say is that the mods of this site are probably not very bright.

Very true. Very, very true.

No, there I don't agree. I get 5 minute responses sometimes.

The only thing that BUGS me is their sending me messages beginning 'Unfortunately...' when they think I've been squawking out of turn. Why don't they accept that I trust them, and just do their job without worrying about my wounded feelings? Which aren't wounded, in any case?

@Soumitra

Do I look like a Sanghi to you? Please do me a favor and clarify how much someone like me will be welcome in your RSS shakha. This shall convince @AfrazulMandal that I am on his side, not yours. LOL. :woot:

I am surprised to not have your "vishish tipani" on this "desh virudhi" thread.

Good you finally saw that.

To begin with, undo annexation of Kashmir, settle the dispute giving Kashmiris their due right. Undo terrorism in Baluchistan, KPK, and Karachi, undo inequality against Muslims in India. Put jin of abusive media back in the bottle.

Give opposition a fair chance in the elections, stop taking religious places of non-Hindu Indians, treat minorities as you treat the majority. Equal respect, equal status, equal rewards and equal punishments for all. Fight elections on your domestic issues instead of who blames Pakistan more.

India will need to restore a relationship with SAARC on equality and give up a need to prove itself a boss. Normalize the relationship with Pakistan, China, and stop being a hostile existence for the region.

Which part would you disagree? Isn't everything in the favour of India and the region?

.
[In other words, Indian taxpayers have been paying for India's territory in Ladakh being surrendered to the Chinese. They should demand a refund from Modi and BJP:cheesy:]

@Soumitra, your reply to Shantanu's insertion ?

P.S : You keep complaining about the JNU students being a burden on Indian taxpayers such as yourself.

I and a few Indian posters on here are 100% in favor of giving Kashmiris their legitimate rights. That starts with restoration of Article 370 and other confidence building measures. A Plebiscite under UN Mandate is something I have supported from Day 1.

Undo terrorism in Baluchistan, KPK, and Karachi,
None of us support it. If RAW is behind them, I strongly condemn their actions.

undo inequality against Muslims in India. Put jin of abusive media back in the bottle.
Very difficult but it is OUR ultimate objective in a new India.

Give opposition a fair chance in the elections, stop taking religious places of non-Hindu Indians, treat minorities as you treat the majority. Equal respect, equal status, equal rewards and equal punishments for all.
Good points.

Fight elections on your domestic issues instead of who blames Pakistan more.
There should be a code of conduct in future Indian elections to have not any political parties abuse Pakistan. It's a fair demand.

India will need to restore a relationship with SAARC on equality and give up a need to prove itself a boss. Normalize the relationship with Pakistan,

Yes, I'm strongly in favour of that. There should be VISA-FREE travel between the two countries and the entire SAARC as an extension. Also right to employment in the other country similar to European Union.

China is a more complicated issue for Indians that requires a separate approach. I believe in the Panchsheel Principles laid out by Pt. Nehru that have governed the ties between the two neighbours for so many years. It's not in India's interests to be hostile to China.

You might need to have Imran Khan as PM of India to do that.

Why has India surrendered so easily without utilising the special friendship? Where was the Quad?

What was all this boot-licking about?

If Trump somehow wins the November election, then Modi will have his lifeline extended by another FOUR YEARS. These two have exactly similar wavelengths: both have a PhD in douchebaggery and cheating people.
