The Kashmir issue is well and alive in the valley.…and Kashmiris themselves openly say “we are not Indian”. So even if my miracle, Pakistan and India settle Kashmir and make the LoC the official border, the people in the Kashmir Valley will continue to revolt.

This is akin to what happened in Punjab, where West Punjab is at peace while East Punjab wants to form Khalistan.

Kashmir issue will never die.

At this moment, Khalistan issue has more traction than Kashmir issue.

Five eyes are inclined to support the Khalistan movement than Kashmir movement and we should make full use of this sentiment.

Pakistan issues visas to 2,856 Sikh pilgrims for Baisakhi​

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan has issued 2,856 visas to Sikh pilgrims from India to participate in the annual Baisakhi celebrations.

The visas were issued by the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, under the framework of the Pakistan-India Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines of 1974.

The visas issued from New Delhi were in addition to the visas granted to the Sikh pilgrims participating in these events from other countries.

Expressing his views on the auspicious occasion, Charge d’Affaires of Pakistan High Commission, Salman Sharif, said Pakistan was committed to preserving sacred religious places and providing necessary facilitation to visiting pilgrims.

During the visit, the pilgrims would, inter alia, go to Dera Sahib, Panja Sahib, Nankana Sahib and Kartarpur Sahib before returning to India on 18th of this month.

We gave up in 1971 because Bengalis turned out to be back stabbers and we did not want to massacre our own.

There was never a "cause" to begin with, the Kashmir issue and supposed freedom struggle was artificially created by politicians to justify regional conflicts and military budgets. The place has become nothing more than a radicalized basketcase, but it does have beautiful mountains and scenery.

The modern day Republic of India (BritishRaj v 2.0) didn't even exist until 1857 and rebooted in 1947, one say after Pakistan's independence.

You're right, Kashmir was part of historic India.

Historic India = Indus Valley = modern day Pakistan

Kashmiris are our Indus cousins, culturally, linguistically and genetically.

Kashmiris are Indo-Iranic and also descend from steppe migrants who traveled eastward. Read the works of Prof Hassan Ahmed Dani, They're one of us.

Over the last year I have met several people from Kashmir who now think there are more extra judicial killing and no freedom in Pakistan.

Depsite me telling this is all hyped up they think what's the point of Kashmir cause to begin with.
