Opinion: Kashmir cause is finally dead

Militarily, taking Kashmir, trying to limit the conflict in the region, is difficult. Achieving 10 to 1 superiority against India is next to impossible as well as limiting the conflict across LOC only, eventually a nuke war.

Sorry, Incomplete analysis.

Do you mean "status quo will remain the same"?

Since you stated that there cannot be a military solution, it follows that there cannot be a political solution either because no one will compromise their positions.

The issue of the glacier is also there, Siachen. If LOC gets hot again, which it might again, then there are troop losses on both sides, but that gains nothing but collateral which has very less effect in the long run. As for the political solution, since China sits in the region and controls some of it, USA would want to get involved.

Ignore the sentiments of Muslims at your own peril, oppression has no worth, learn from history.
You're right, if we don't learn from our history it's bound to repeat itself.

The hope is that our differences can be addressed over the long run within the framework of our constitution. That our founding fathers laid a foundation strong and democratic enough to withstand the stresses social disharmony brings.

I'd wager thats a foolish hope in your opinion, but im a fool so are a lot of us, what to do :D

.
With Pakistan economy and political situation tailwinding , there are much more chances of Pakistan balkanising than your army getting past LOC .

No, there are many neutral surveys and opinions available.

There is no need to choose Pakistan or even India if the people of Gilgit and Baltistan have the option of creating a newly independent nation with Indian Kashmir and Ladakh.
Get a move on bruv, you and your imaginary surveys.

Have you ever visited GB? Its staunchly Pro Pak. Even recently, Policemen from GB were on the forefront with IK fighting facism in Zaman Park Lahore.

Well, in terms of how they handle borders, I think the Chinese are lot smarter than Pakistan.

They continue to assert their claim to portions of India (Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh etc), but they also conduct commerce and business and profit from all economic activities.

Chinese do the same with other neighboring countries - Trade and border conflicts and claims on other parts,

Regarding the USA, It has to do with the USA's power balance planning for the future, not what is happening right now. In the coming decades, China will be powerful enough to rule Asia, and the only nation that can pose a serious threat to South Asia is India.

Why would we object to receiving anything from the USA? We think we'll be able to handle any threats from China in the ensuing decades, and China won't want a nuclear conflict to break out.

When it comes to our security and defense, we are more than capable, but if the USA and other western nations are giving military hardware, we should swoop in with both hands because it is in our best interests to do so.

Have you ever visited Kashmir? You only know, what your leaders and media say.

If you refer to YouTube videos, I will give the same kind of reference video for GB.

The solution is simple but unpalatable to you Indians: honor the partition deal and give the Muslims the right to free of Hindu domination. That is the only disharmony between India and Pakistan very easily solvable but then greed has no limits. I'd wager one thing and no doubt that's a foolish hope in your opinion, that there be a free and fair election held , you know that plebiscite that India always shirks from , in India occupied Kashmir. The result won't surprise you.

If kashmiri don't want Pakistan then the cause has been dead for Pakistan for a long time

An independent Kashmir will be headache for Pakistan

Thanks for input

Hence it makes no sense for Pakistani people to spill their blood for someone who doesn't even want them.
It doesn't matter if they want to join us or not. Our rivers come from there and an small independent Kashmir, no matter how hostile, is better than even semi-hostile India

Do you really believe that Pakistan wants Kashmir for the betterment of the people of Kashmir? Of course, it is not. Pakistan needs to bleed the Hindu majority India and Kashmir is just one of the reasons for its objective to harm us. If it is not Kashmir, there will be another reason in place of Kashmir to fight with India.
And here I thought you were one of the few sensible Indians on here. :disagree:

Kashmir was part of INDIA since past 10,000 years. mark my words, with massive development works that are going on, you will see all the dissent disappear within 15 years
There is separatism in Catalonia as well. So, I'd hold that thought, if I was a gangu

Over the last year I have met several people from Kashmir who now think there are more extra judicial killing and no freedom in Pakistan.

Depsite me telling this is all hyped up they think what's the point of Kashmir cause to begin with.

I think ISI has acheived what RAW couldn't in decades

Congratulations

Same thing is what moeed was saying in his Vlog

What's the temperature in England as they are more expatiate in England from Kashmir

?
What you are getting wrong here is that Kashmiris's primary motivation was to join Pakistan.
But that was always secondary to getting self-determination in the first place. You could argue about the effects on Pakistan's apparent withdrawal of meaningful support, but that's a different thing,

The WOT between 2001 and 2021, Pakistan's economic and political problems have delayed the Kashmir issue for now but these situations are temporary and Pakistan will recover. Once we do and as China becomes a global hyper power, we will back to resolve the Kashmir issue.......... :azn:........even if it takes many centuries or decades.........we are here for the long haul......... :azn:

The modern day Republic of India (BritishRaj v 2.0) didn't even exist until 1857 and rebooted in 1947, one say after Pakistan's independence.

You're right, Kashmir was part of historic India.

Historic India = Indus Valley = modern day Pakistan

Kashmiris are our Indus cousins, culturally, linguistically and genetically.

Keep begging Gangadeshi.

This is why I say, flood IOK with sophisticated equipment and go pro cams and see the magic in 4K. I’d love to see, will probably share the content with many friends.

The eastern delusional vermin thinks the corrupt government speaks for 240mn people which is quite funny.

Culturally, meh
Linguistically, yes
Genetically, not really. We are a race of our own which created a civilisation in the foothills of the Himalayas, primarily Iranic and Eurasian

Within 15 years? It’s been 75 years already.
As time goes by resistance grows stronger.
The new wave of resistance will be much stronger and much deadlier because it will be mostly independent Jihad free of Pakistani dictation and treachery.

Many non-Kashmiri Pakistanis also have Iranic or part Iranic heritage.
