The Taliban in Swat are not muslims nor are the ones fighting in other parts of Pakistan. Once I was talking to an officer about the Taliban and he said that Used-Condoms were recovered from the terrorists hideout.

There is a lot of smuggled alcohol in that region. Not sure if the militants use it, they may be smuggling it to get money. On the other hand a lot of the people who have joined taliban are petty crooks and hoodlums from the areas and it is very possible that they consume alcohol.
