Open discussion about economy of Northeast China

Some industries which are supposed to be in Wuhan now are also in NE China. GDP of my city is more than 1 trillion yuan, will surpass GDP of entire Jilin Province in 2-3 years.

This is the nice thing about socialism and Chinese government. You can follow the USA style "market fundamentalism" and allow an entire city to rot.

While the government has less leverage on private sector, she can allocate Aerospace and Defence industries to equalize the development of the country.

Take back russia occupied far east territory. The economy of NE China will climb like rocket.Otherwise it will fall back to the level of Central China for obivious reason.
@senheiser @vostok
Is there any validity in Chinese claims and how will Russia respond to this?

Considering Russian enterprise Transneft is constructing gas pipleine in this region

BU) According to media reporting, Russian state-owned oil company Rosneft and oil transport company Transneft have each signed long-term agreements with China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and China Development Bank (CDB), a Chinese policy bank in the process of becoming a commercial financial institution. The Export-Import Bank of China (Exim Bank) will reportedly also contribute to the loan package. Under the agreements, CDB will loan USD 10 billion to Transneft and USD 15 billion to Rosneft, collateralized by an agreement to supply approximately 15 million metric tons of crude per year over twenty years (the equivalent of 300,000 barrels/day) to CNPC via pipeline. Transneft will construct a 67 km pipeline spur linking the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) Pipeline from Skovorodino to Mohe terminal in China's northern Heilongjiang Province, while CNPC will construct a 960 km pipeline to transport the oil from Mohe to Daqing, China's largest oil field, where it will connect with the broader Chinese pipeline system.

China has no claims to Russia. And there are Nationalists-Imperials in every country with long history. In Russia, too, there are those who want to return Alaska, Finland, Manchuria, Poland and so on.

Given that Russian firm is constructing a pipeline situation there politically fine.

I'm in shock man and according to DRAY aka Rain Man who said India will have replaced China as the No.1 economy in 30 years time starting to count from 2015. Drinking too much infected water will do that to certain supa powa wannabe

& your point sir?
Please try to understand one thing (see the pic @AndrewJin has posted in his first post of thread), you'll find that several provinces in China have an economic output, which s singly more than several countries on the planet. However when it comes to measuring prosperity, economists use a parameters like per capita income, Human Development index, literacy, health etc.
To put this point in perspective, try to compare socio-economic situation of societies and see how they match up. Example I'm sure several Chinese provinces win hands down of individual economic activity output as compared to say Switzerland or Denmark. Still when you compare on prosperity and overall well being, several smaller European countries are ranked far higher.
The point of saying all this is donot see numbers in an isolated manner.
Had you compared Indian and Chinese provincial datas taking a holistic approach, it would have made a lot of constructive sense. Otherwise all it does is invite mindless mud slinging and trolling in decent thread like these.
Nobody wants that, isn't it?

Don't say it to regionalists in China, they will say NE China steal their jobs.
BTW, some logistics enters from Wuhan will be relocated in cities around Wuhan although it is strongly opposed.

My purpose of this thread is of course to talk about the economy of NE China which has done the worst on GDP growth in 2015 although their GDP per capita is above national average level. Is there similar phenomenon in India now that economic growth is uneven in different regions or states?

Yes there are plenty! I've a personal acquaintance in my work who is a Russian Nationalist that has such views.

Calm down bro, if they take more efforts, anything could happen.
But to say it before it really happens is no sensible. At least in the near future, the gap between India's GDP and GDP of big two provinces of China combined (Guangdong&Jiangsu) becoming bigger and bigger. However, I think our biggest concern is the gap between costal China and the rest of China.

A good sign is the provinces of highest growth rate are mostly in Central China and Western China.

Yes there is. (i'm posting this rather old data, just to make my point).
gdp-shares-2010-11.jpg

But the phenomena of unequal economic growth is quite common, as economic output of a sub region would depend on material resources(Natural resources), Human Development (Skills, education etc) and off course available opportunities (closeness of industries nearby).
