A country that can't park its airplane in some other country because of its inability to communicate can never be a superpower in a thousand years. As simple as that. I'm not asking them to speak English in their native country. I'm simply astounded that their professionals can't speak English in any given circumstance. That's pathetic. Even Pakistanis beat them on that front. A country that is immune to adaptation is doomed to crumble one day.

There's no point in arguing with indians. They make severely outlandish claims. I've heard indians say they're space program is more advanced than that of NASA, it is impossible for Pakistan to ever become a nuclear weapons state, india is more powerful than China etc.

How is this figure important of number of people graduating themselves? Most of the influencer business tycoons of the world has established their empires without having college degree. With the education system we have in subcontinent which is extension of colonial past, we will only create english speaking clerks nothing more. Also why would a worker working in a mill or a truck driver transporting goods in extreme road condition require a graduate degree? A technical diploma would be more beneficial for him/her.
I am more concerned on large number of people not getting basic elemantary education. That is more worry as that will deprive them of reading, communicating and understanding their own rights etc.

Good. This will plug the gaps for future generations. No more free meals to people who are taking national level initiatives lightly. Its almost a decade and people complaining that they still dont have aadhaar but want to access free lunches are useless and pathetic fellows. They need to get their aadhaar done as soon as possible.
