What's new

Only 33,000 Athiests in India as per census

Akin to ... like I love to quote von Manstein ... armed forces being apolitical is a political statement by itself lol

amazing simile ... lol

but we have non-veg brahmins ... the problem is as always with all religions, those who interpret it according to their understanding or lack thereof.
@Kashmiri Pandit himself is a non veg even Hindus of Kashmir ate meat they just didnt ate beef

Mhm that's BS. If we can have 4 million atheists (and this is from 2012 so imagine the number now) then I am sure India will at least have a comparable number, if not much bigger due to a bigger population.

.
Atheists have a depreciated morality.

. .
Census of India .. absolute joke.. A good 7-10% of the total population is an educated guess.

.
people dont say this openly, unless you are a tamil(which has athestic school of thought among hindus for quite long)

 well there is no such thing Hindu atheist or Muslim atheist or so on so either you are an atheist or you believe in some organized or unorganized faith

Atheism in Hinduism. Atheism (Sanskrit: निरीश्वरवाद, nir-īśvara-vāda, lit. "statement of no Lord", "doctrine of godlessness") or disbelief in God or gods has been a historically propounded viewpoint in many of the orthodox and heterodox streams of Hindu philosophies .

Atheist is mostly used for outright deniers of any supreme entity and reoigion and agnostic can be used for doubters if they are clinging onto religion that means they still are doubtful no?

The problem is Hindus ( Many ) don't see Hinduism as a religion but as Culture and Tradition . Hindus also included Sikhs , Jains and Buddhists but during British rule , these distinct cultural practices were identified and separated as different religions .

Yes to outsider its pretty much a religion because they have grown in a society with such views affected by Abrahmic faiths and Modern secular outlook .
