Nope. They lack 1 piece of land spanning 4000+ km. Britain used to have one in Africa spanning from Egypt to South Africa.

a super power needs to have both global economic & military influence comparable to an entire grouping of countries (eg: comparable to the economic influence of the EU) Russia is not a super power, it's economy is about the size of South Korea, they are at best a reagional power, & even in their own reagion (Eastern Europe) Germany's influence is higher than that of Russia, nowadays the US & to a much less extent Germany dictates what happens in Europe, Russia? the only thing they have to affect dicisions of EU members are gas prices.
don't get me wrong I love Russia the most but the reality is that Russia has now even lost Ukraine for good.
