No just covid, In every sector, no matter how terrible the west performed, westerners would just find the sparkling part( Nothing is 100% dark. No even the black hole) from it. And then amplify it. It will be another win for the west and loss for China.

And the west does the opposite to China. They always find flaws no matter how well China did. They call China's anti-terrorism as genocide. China's investment as debt trap. China's quarantine as restricting freedom.

We are Chinese people who believe in Confucianism. The core idea of Confucianism is "仁", so we cannot give up the lives of our compatriots for money.

On my understanding of Japanese on Confucianism. In a real sense, Japanese are not true Confucians, they don't believe in humane benevolence (仁), the foremost core value of Confucianism, they particularly selectively discard such teaching of Confucius. That might explain why the Japanese were collectively so cruel and barbaric in the past centuries including WW II during their military expansions.
