A lot of people think money grows on trees in the west. When they go they end up worse than they started. Especially here in America where their is not much welfare.

Infact earning monry overthere is harder than in pakistan. The working hours are longer and you face discrimination at your work place.
If you a failing bum in pakistan trust me you are a failing bum everywhere.
Yes opportunities maybe less here but you need Patience and hardwork everywhere.

I know many Pakistani trained doctors who come here to the states and can’t pass any exams and end up as Taxi or Restaurant workers. But lie to relatives back home that their still doctors. One guy I remember was a chemical engineer back home, told his future in laws he works at a firm, gets married comes here and during a house party a friends wife tells the misses hows husbands subway job going — all hell broke lose after that. Lol

I find this story of truck driver to be suspicious, I don't think Americans are letting anyone board the planes without first identifying the US issued documents and checking their records if the person actually worked for the US military or not
