I agree. You are correct. India must do more to settle the Kashmir issue.
That's what I'm saying. For how long are we going to wait and see more Indians and Pakistanis dying? How much of a hostility you guys are you going to make with one another? Both states are armed with nuclear weapons to the teeth, and the very least thing a decent human being would see is a nuclear war between you folks, neither the United Nations would allow such thing to happen or KSA.
Saudi Arabia took a major role in restraining both of you during the Karjail war, as well as the 2008 military standoff.
India and Pakistan must act pragmaticly to settle this issue. We don't tolerate any terror groups, be it Islamic, Crusade, Hindu or whatever. We have seen a lot of terror in my home land AGAINST SAUDI CIVILANS, therefore, we can't stand terrorists overseas or within our land.
Just yesterday, we arrested two terrorists in Riyadh who were plotting to blow up a couple of facilities. Terrorism knows no color or taste, religion or race.
But in this particular case, like many others, the 'innocent people' are in fact hired protestors who throw stones at cops!
I'm not ready yet to evaluate this case, but I would assume it wouldn't be different from what we have seen over the years.
Some Pakistani's seem to think that running with their tail behind their legs to the OIC would make life easier for them. I said what I did in response to those comments.
Just like any other organization on the plant, the OIC wouldn't wage a war against Ethiopia or India or whatever country.
What's more harmful to India is the public opinion about India's stand on the conflict, such negative opinion would limit the Indio-Islamic world relations.
Another issue is that the OIC does have an influence on world stage including the international secuirty council, in the past, we had seen how the world reacts to such incidents as these. It is not a demonization of Indians or India but a negative opinion on India will also limit its transitional raise to power globally. We had seen how China reacted to India's proposal to join the UN as a permenant member - same is applied on Japan by China, Germany by France and Russia -
India shares good relations with KSA and those seem to be warming even further with KSA deporting two terrorists to India
Our relations with India is based on mutual respect. We have signed a defence agreement with India which mainly include counterterrorism cooperation, and extradition treaty. Saudi Arabia is known for its commitments to treaties, therefore, KSA was obligated to fulfill the agreements terms and conditions, including deporting terrorists, and keeping an open channel to help out both India and Pakistan.
KSA had also helped India during natural disasters via the UN, which means that we aren't anti-India by nature.
