I'm amazed to read people arguing about wether humans should have access to water for free. It is a sunnah of RasoolAllah (saws) to dig wells and give people access to them as an act of sadaqa. When did money become more important?

Calm down first of all 2nd yes it is possible international auditing firms are monitoring it and auditing this project and international media has reported this story too. I'm not good at maths but if india can plant 66m trees in 1 day than i guess we can too plant 1b trees in 3 years.

Even a military dictator couldn't do anything about it i say it's time we find alternates to this dam.

Truly one of the most rubbish leaders we've had. I had such high hopes for the man but he never had the courage to do anything drastic. I mean he was a military dictator, who was going to stop him building the dam?! He had ultimate authority.

Its one of the best projects in Pakistan and other provinces should follow them without any political prejudices. Forestation will definitely affect climate and environment and probably this would be the best thing we would be leaving for our next generation.

I don't know. Maybe it's the bad taste of the nro, but I always felt so dissapointed in Musharraf. Maybe I just had too high expectations.

This one is also a lie. Lying and fabricating fantastic stories is an every day job of Indian media and also Indian intelligence agencies. Perhaps it is because it increases the TRP ratings (viewership) and readership of the news channels and newspapers and keeps them popular.
