What could be the possible stance/scenario/agenda if a Conflict btw CN/US increase to the point where it could force Indo/Malaysia out of their neutral position? (in the coming 2-5 years)

I dont see any possibility for full scale war with China since our dispute is not that big. Neither China nor Indonesia want to get the dispute escalates into military conflict level. If China somehow become too aggressive and patrol their warship within our EEZ what I can see will happen is that Indonesia will turn down its diplomatic level with China and possible cutting off
our trade relation. We have done before so I think it can be done again in the future. China will become the looser since we have 11 billion USD trade deficit with them and we export coal to them that is highly needed by their industries.

I hope Indonesia can cozy up to Malaysia and both at least have that side of the world covered.
Pakistan, Iran and Turkey need to get their act right if any thing is to change in Middle East, Central Asia, and South Asia.

After Soekarno fall down, Indonesia and Malaysia relationship become close again and even we help Malaysia by sending our special force to fight their communist insurgency in Sarawak and Sabah.

Potential conflict is exist in Ambalat block since we have disputed over that particular block and it is also rich with oil and gas. The block is in Indonesian hand and I believe as long as Indonesia military is still much stronger than Malaysia then Malaysia will not dare to challenge Indonesia on that block. They start to challenge us actually when we were very weak after getting financial crisis and arm embargo from US and Britain. It was during 2004 when almost all of our F 16 are grounded due to lack of spare part. They dont dare to do that again after Indonesia keep getting stronger economically and militarily and Arm Embargo is lifted by US.

We got.to think globsl before this. I am disheartened to see some of the intellectuals talking about nationalism. Maximum they can expand to is turkey. That will not help.
Unless we think that we are a global community , we can not make progress. Yes there will be challenges but they are worth solving than solving challenges while.living.in silos. Pakistanis are so I. The corner mentally. They need to open up and accept that others are Muslim too. That's the first step.
Second , develop alliance at business level. East with center and center with both east and west. Gradually , this can be expanded.
There could be regional.headquarters in 3 regions. We can start with small.prototype.project.
We can learn languages as second step to touch each others' hearts in communication.
We have been given NATO like alliance by Islam. Infact much better since our moto.isnt booty and plunder.
We need to dig oir history to find Morals and use those as basis to build new framework.
And please , take diversity as an advantage rather than a challenge. It's far better to be diverse than just eating roti salan (curry) every day.

When Islamic kingdoms became what they became, Allah sent Gangiz, and then that way Allah gave the Imamat in the hands of Usmanis.
I see the modern days and I am waiting for that new power from Kuffars, who will rise in similar fashion as Usmanis. I think that will be some power from WEST (May be USA) . Allah knows better.

The "bloc" will have puppets to begin with to one of the three non-Muslim super powers. Therefore, the need is for a single very powerful Muslim country that can wean off the puppet Muslim nations off the non-Muslim super powers.

Yup, Saudia, Turkey and Iran are currently fighting for that position.. so we have to wait indefinitely..

Indonesian Muslim is indeed getting more conservative over the years since we break out from authoritarian regime in 1998. Alhamdulillah. This is Prabowo Subianto campaign in 2019 where you can see people were attending since night and perform Tahajud and Fajr prayer before listening to the speech in the morning. I am my self vote for his rival because I see Jokowi has better economic policy. Nevertheless 45 % Indonesian are strong supporter of Islamist movement which is seen in latest election, and if this group get better leader they can win in the next election.

We are getting more liberal here unfortunately

Islam has a unique feature. First, a power, fierce against Islam, sometime take against Islam, demolishes the old Islamic establishment, or try to demolish, but then that power herself becomes Islam.
USA has fits in this. But I really don't know how.
