J-10C doesn't offer much compared to what later blocks of thunders are offering. There is no point in adding one more platform to inventory which doesn't offer much compared to previous induction. Fifth generation is the future and we must be looking at likes of J31.

Rafale is an imposing aircraft no doubt.
but India already has very good mix of modern and and upgraded jets with top tier Russian and Western technology
despite that its a shame for IAF that PAF was not bullied and rubbed IAF nose in the dirt in broad day light.
Rafale will definitely increase the technological gap between PAF and IAF. there is a limit to tactics , training and so called man being the gun. in the end the technology makes a huge difference

But when we get J-20s/J-31s, the gap will widen in Pakistan's favour........

Instead we should try to induct more F-16 like what we did with ones from Jordan. As I said introducing new platform means a commitment of decades. We don't need another light weight fighter we already have one called JF-17 Thunder. There is simply no space for a new platform which doesn't offer a significant leap from F-16s and Thunders. What we need is heavy superiority fighters, twin engines and with way bigger payload to strike deep inside enemy territory. Fifth generation is the future so need no need to invest time in a 4th gen single engine fighter.
