What's new

Once home of the Calipha - Istanbul

Honestly, we need to forget about Pakistan, it's a hopeless case. I've been watching videos of Major Gaurav Arya lately on that YouTube channel Defensive Offence. His analysis of Pakistan is cold, dispassionate but spot on.
He asks what does Pakistan produce? It's a country that is perpetually dependent on foreign aid to prop it up.
You and I are lucky that despite being Pakistani in background we are citizens of prosperous and relatively free Western countries. Let's leave Pakistan behind and embrace our new homes here in the West.

You carry on listening devils like that. We will look to inspiration to our forefathers who made Pakistan and dua of the walis of Allah who will ensure its survival. Yes it's got a long way to go, but it came from nothing, and to build something substantial takes years.

.
yes i saw that. I thought there is some new video

from reddit

I used to really like Pakistanis, don't get me wrong I still very much do but the way some Pakistanis are acting like they know what's up in Turkey, telling us what's best for us without even knowing the internal dynamics of our country is quite ridiculous. They should just stop that. And despite what some idiots here claim, most Turks whether secular or conservative are grateful that Indian Muslims (at that time) helped out the Turks in many different ways, sending medics, money, weapons, and sometimes soldiers. We don't forget that but watching a few Turkish shows does not make you an expert on Turkish history in which some Pakistani friends have the audacity to lecture us about our own country. That's simply obnoxious and really rude.

People in Pakistan think that they are historians on Turkey simply because they watched Ertugrul or any other sycophantic Turkish soap opera.

I think the majority of Pakistani people would hate Turkey if they saw how seculiar we are compared to the middle east. The Turkey that they imagine and the reality are completely different.
Personally, their love for Turkey and Turkish culture doesn’t bother me, I just don’t think they really understand what they are supporting.

can you please provide the link? would love the whole conversation

Yes, I'm an Indian slave Muslim, slave of Hindus and Sikhs, that's why I live in Canada and am a Canadian citizen?
How generous the Hindu and Sikh masters are for letting a slave like me leave the Muslim slums and live in a First World country like Canada.
I think many Pakistanis would give their right arm to be a slave of such generous Hindu and Sikh Indian masters.

Just be a good little indian FAKE PLASTIC Muslim slave boy and carry on worshipping sikhs and hindus..................also carry on believing indian retards who believe that india is a superpower that can defeat China and Pakistan simultaneously.........................no wonder india is home to the world's biggest FAKE NEWS and PROPAGANDA factory...............:azn::

With respect Waz, I think you miss the point. After 80 yrs of independence Pakistan has become poorer than Bangladesh. I think most Pakistanis simply fail to understand the sheer disaster that is Pakistan.

It's taking a long time because you're headed in the wrong direction.

We are not the ones with over 732 million open defectors and nearly 40% of the ENTIRE earth's most severely malnourished and extreme poor people.............:azn::

--------------------------

The religions of the world had their chance to lead the world into a better place full of advancements, science, tech, infrastructure, modernity, rationality....

They squandered their chances

It's the secular West or Communist Russia that has given most of the advancements of the world.....and they will drag rest of the world into modernity inspite of all the kicking and screaming.....An aftereffect of scientific development in a society is full female empowerment

Just ask yourself what sort of society would even begin to research on Female birth control given all the attendant social implications ......

I will tell you: The sort of society that is not afraid of asking hard and tough questions no matter where the answers might lead them

This is exactly the sort of society Germany was in 1960 as it launched Female Birth Control through Schering

Problem with religion and religous folks is that they pretend to know the answers even before the question is asked.....

even MBS realized the folly of trying to have a sceintifically advanced country with low female empowerment..and now even Saudis are going full west

I mean let us ask the question....Has Japan lost its authenticity because it whole sale copied the Western development model?

Bro Add to that the threat of a huge external enemy, and numerous low intensity conflicts. You progress when you have decades of peace. Japan and Germany were beaten into peace, the South Koreans had the US sit by their side whilst they moved forward. Yes issues of governance, corruption are factors, but to make point comparisons with other nations isn't accurate.

Yep, he's ignored by all, including Indian posters. Just a random troll who has been banned numerous times.

Interesting tour of Sultan Erdogan's Istanbul. After ruling for 20 years and with almost absolute power in the last 10 years we can see Dar al Islam. Reminds me of Peshawar, Islamabad and Lahore. Not Amsterdam or Berlin or Paris.

the khalifat land looks very clean and hygienic under the rule of our caliph sultan erdogan.

Most Pakistani's intoxicated with religion aas fed by them by the local retarded mullah have a very skewed understanding of Turks. Watching crap like Ertugrul and Erdogan do his political dance acts has given them a very false image of Turks.

Like I said Erdogan has been in power for 20 years with 10 as absolute rule. Yet in 2021Turkey is staunchly secular state where alcohol, miniskirts, open sex etc are legal and on open display. Most PDF'ers regard me as a athiest libtard. The reality is I am a village, backward Muslim fundamentalist compared to most Turks.

And I hae been to Turkey countless times. The place feels more Europe then Dar al Islam. @Yankee-stani I don;t have time but can you educate people about our sultan Erdogan and Turkey please and his thoughts on secularism?

The important thing is, HOW do we get Pakistanis to get rid of this regressive mindset and have one that enables us to become just as successful as the Turks?

An element of truth there, but I think that in a defence centric mindset, the foreign threat has been exagerrated. When was the last full Indo-Pakistan war? About 50 yrs ago.

I do not believe there is an 'Indian' threat, we have nothing that they want, they have what we want : Kashmir.
Overspending on the military has meant a total failure to build up domestic industry.

As always, their are other factors, the list is long. At the end of the day it is our failure and not our circumstances.

They struck in 2019, and that was a deep strike into Pakistani territory. You don't need a full fledged war to warrant a strong defensive mindset. If you go down that road it's already too late.
They do have some things we have i.e. land and positions. Although how serious they are of recent times can be debated.
