Once a coward Always a Coward - Iraqi forces afraid

Are you kidding me? US war in Vietnam is much worst than any current US expeditions, either it is Iraq or Afghanistan. Do you think why US must resort to dirty tactics like Operation Thunder rolling, bombing with chemical weapons and so on in Vietnam and not in Iraq? In Vietnam US must lost hundreds of their fighter, thousands of their helicopter, armor and so on, in Iraq? please study a lot about history before giving such statement. Let our Vietnam friends read your comment

@Viet @BoQ77 @Carlosa @visom @Battle of Bach Dang River

I wish, no country ever need the staying of US troops.
Best wishes to Iraqi, Syrian ..

You put an Iraqi dude and an American dude in the desert with little water and food. The American will be dead within a week.
let me correct you , both will be dead in a week , only a Bedouin can survive that and they are not your every day Iraqi or American dude .

No, Iraqis like all other Middle Eastern people (Iranians included) are used to a much warmer climate than the average American unless that American happens to be from Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, parts of California, Florida etc.

Just like your average Russian, Canadian etc. is much better at dealing with very cold temperatures because that weather is common most of the year in those regions of the world. There is nothing strange about this.

The Americans had a big difficulty dealing with the very hot temperatures in Iraq during the summer (the highest in the ME together with Kuwait and parts of Southwestern Iran (Ahwaz etc.) due to the Shamal wind compared to the locals. This is a undeniable fact.

Shamal (wind) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nobody can survive without water ANYWHERE for 7 days. Besides there are close to no true Bedouin's anymore anywhere or other semi-nomadic people that at the same time are warriors by nature/occupation.

Anyway the point here is not that people (Iraqis) are not able to fight its due to the military structure and the incompetence of the commanders, the language barrier and all the other problems connected to sect, loyalty, militias, fear of dying for something that they do not believe in, them not being professional soldiers, bad and very short training and other factors.

Also it's time to forget this sectarian nonsense. Who cares if your brother or sister is Sunni or Shia? This and other nonsense differences are killing the Muslim world. We should be past this.
