On the fringes of jallikattu protests, Tamil nationalism attempts to emerge

As police said, youngsters and students not indulged in any kind of violence. The state govt have to conduct Republic day parade without any disruption, which is quite clear from the mrng, with police lathi charge on one side and preparation for the parade on the other side. Broker Thiru murugan gandhi and co did their part to start violence and the historical movement turned ugly.

Ruling class wanted to tell the common man to be silent, otherwise a girl wouldn't have killed in lathi charge at alanganallur and a pregnant lady wouldn't have got miscarriage. What kind of violence these female protesters would have done to disrupt the public? It's known at marina that other groups entered the scene, why lathi charge held across the state? Violence erupted only in chennai, why police lathi charged at madurai, coimbatore, etc etc?

Thats really sad to hear some one died for this pathetic handling by the police.

Also its a failure from the govts, that failed to educate the common man about the ordinance they brought. Protests had no leadership, the govt should have made the contents of the ordinance in public thru medias, majority..

i read somewhere that they are asking for a "permanent" legislation about jallikattu. as the ordinance will expire in 6 months. what after that ?

is it true ? .......

BTW why so much drama for a game ? We also had "Basant" , a traditional festival infect. and when government Banned it we followed.

The usual propaganda rather than addressing the issue. There is not a single news about any incident which misses ISI at all, seems like it works like spices for the readers. If political government is unable to redress the grievances of own people, it is an easy job to put blame on rival country, paint it as controversy and then suppress them all with force in the name of patriotism/national interest. At least should spare in these issues but involving Pakistan/ISI is the most justified way to gain sympathy and call them protesters as terrorists in the end.
