LAHORE: NESPAK has been awarded mega road and infrastructure projects in the Sultanate of Oman, enabling a Pakistani engineering firm to generate handsome foreign exchange for the country by exporting its expert consultancy services.

As per details, the Ministry of Transport and Communication, Oman, has awarded a consultancy services contract to NESPAK for the design of a Main Highway/Expressway connecting Thumrait Interchange with Mubaila Interchange on the Muscat Expressway.

As consultants, NESPAK will design major components of the project comprising a dual carriageway main road (25km), dual carriageway link road (5km), service roads (10km), five interchanges, five bridges, six vehicular underpasses/overpasses and two pedestrian underpasses/overpasses.

Conceived as all-weather roads, the arteries will be designed along with all necessary drainage structures, including the provision of culverts and wadi bridges. The client has stipulated an 8-month timeframe for the completion of the design job.

Taking a playbook from Turkey and China not bad Pakistan, I was thinking it will be at least a decade away from doing mega projects abroad, then again the Turks and Chinese have been doing these contracts works since the 1990s and before that it was South Korea in the 1980s but anyways PAKISTAN ZINDABAD May this project herald a new way to pump money back to our nation

. . . . .
Zkb has also won international tenders many times in past it is not new for us but problem is it is not guaranteed this money will come in Pakistan and there is high chance they will invest the money earn in foreign countries

.
Pti government maybe took some money form Oman so they can award it to nespak, right.
Like they did from the advisor to award the mohmand dam to deacon.
Like they drink 2 cups of tea daily creating billions of loss to national exchequer..
Like Imran not using the gold plated toilets in the pm house, means wasting tons of money
