I am guessing the new cranes have higher lift capacity. They are probably needed to bring in all the material for the Gwadar Airport and other infrastructure material needed to build Gwadar.

I was hoping China would increase the number of berths and cranes from the current 5. Gwadar should soon start preparing for 20 berths.
