What's new

Officials say for each Pak F16 in the air, two Su30MKI jets have to be scrambled

.
It is an old Indian tactic to appear smaller and timid to the enemy, and then at wartime, show the true face

We only have to go back between 1965 and 1971 when enemy worked behind the scene to acquire weapons while we faced sanctions

Behind the scene, they are fixing their hierarchy ordering adjustment weapons

We have limited time to order used Destroyers from China (retired) and also find a fill gap squadron or two for Euro fighter , similarly increase Al Khaild production levels

Or invest a fraction of that money in clever and creative offensive black ops that set India's faultlines on fire... but, oh wait, we long lost the brains and balls to do that.

According to bhindians they will able to shoot at anything in Pakistan air and ground.
They lack basic information in every aspect of the war.

All we say just go ahead and shoot every aircraft and ground target....

Paf is not sitting idle either.there are things in Pipeline wiland balance willl be acquired.if things goes south.kaboom is last resort.

Pakistan is preparing for rafales for 15 years. Indians will get many more surprises.

India's Rafale edge: A look at the special features of the fighter aircraft
India got its first Rafale jet at a ceremony in France on Tuesday, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh taking a sortie in the combat aircraft.

After a 15-year procurement process, India got its first Rafale jet at a ceremony in France on Tuesday, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh taking a sortie in the combat aircraft. The first aircraft will arrive in India only in May 2020 - a batch of four Rafale jets will be dispatched to the Ambala airbase after training pilots.

For almost two decades, the IAF has been perceived to be handicapped on long-range weapons and sensors vis-a-vis PAF

Officials say for each Pak F16 in the air, two Su30MKI jets have to be scrambled because of superior radar & missiles of American jets.

COMPARED to SU30MKI fighter jets in the IAF, Rafale fares much higher

LOITERING CAPABILITY: 1.5 times of Su30MKI

RANGE: 780-1055 km vs 400-550 of Su30MKI

5 SORTIES per 24 hours against 3 by Su30MKI

THE DEAL:
India in September 2016 inked a direct deal with French government to purchase 36 Rafale jets for €7.87 billion. Deal includes over €3 billion of work for the Indian industry over the next 7-8 years India to get 28 singleseater jets and 8 twinseaters for training

TAIL NUMBER:
Indian Rafale jets carry the RB series of tail numbers, named after current IAF chief RKS Bhadauria.

The Edge:
The weapons package outguns all other weapons systems in the region and will give India the ability to engage Pakistani jets from a distance without being tracked. Also, air to-ground SCALP missile will be able to take down virtually any target within Pakistani soil.

Weapons
SCALP: Precision long-range ground attack missile that can take out targets with extreme accuracy. Has a range of much over 300 km.

METEOR: Beyond visual range air-toair missile that is possibly the best in its class. Can take out enemy aircraft at a range of over 100 km. Has a no escape zone of over 60 km and the missile easily outclasses the Americanorigin.

INDIA SPECIFIC:
While other nations, including France and Egypt operate Rafale jets, the ones supplied to India are more advanced and modified to meet specific requirements.

Helmet mounted sights & targeting system to give the pilots lightening quick ability to shoot off weapons.

Ability to take off from high altitude airbases like Leh on a ‘cold start’ for quick reaction deployment AMRAAM currently with Pak with dead accuracy.

Towed decoy system to thwart incoming missile attacks

French industrial support for 50 years.

Our F16s and the Indian Predicament Spanning Nearly Four Decades.

What a crap, they were singing MKI is best bird in South Asia since 90s now it become inferior to F-16s of PAF, what hypocrites they are.

. .
All these decades and the F-16 still makes the InAF piss their pants.

Reason why PAF prefers upgrading or buying more of them.

Their real worry should be soon to arrive PL-15 & PL-10 equipped JF-17s.

You do know our fault lines run deeper as well? And enemy has more resources to exploit and sustain our fault lines for decades? Remind how long it is since Balochistan and Pashtun belt is being exploited by Indian elements ? A decade and half ? with occasional pin pricks at Sindh Belt. While Pakistan can exploit what at most ? Kashmir ? that too with limited economic resources.

You got to admit we can't exploit and sustain fault lines as we don't have economic and political clout to do so. What happened to Pakistan narrative after Jhadav arrest? Nobody gave a fcuk.

My dear friend,

India will continue to expose our faultlines, and that too more aggressively, when it has no fear of consequences. Our options are to sit pretty and get battered or to at least try and raise some insurgencies there.

Nobody said it is easy to fight a more resourceful/richer/bigger enemy which has more political and international clout --- but if we are just going to give up and use these excuses, we may as well hand over Azad Kashmir without a fight and give them the key to CPEC. Was it easy for the Taliban to frustrate NATO and for us to support them without being directly attacked by NATO? Of course not, but we did it.

There are ways to protect your interests rather than accepting every 'new normal' India forces on us --- it's that grey area between doing nothing and getting battered VS doing too much and inviting a conventional response from India. It requires brains and balls of a level that I have hardly come across in the appropriate circles, unfortunately.

I suggest IAF to update this equation
2 x Rafales of IAF = 1 x F7pg of PAF

Betting too much on the aircraft slated for retirement with the aircraft slated for induction.
