And can we blame our Taiwanese friends for their hesitancy ? Taiwanese friends of mine are vehemently against reunification with China. They'll never trade their taste of democracy and their individual rights afforded by due process of the law for the autocracy of the CPC Regime. Talk to any Taiwanese and they will spurn anyone who even mentions unification , or concept of 1 country 2 system with Beijing.

We have a binding treaty with the PRC to recognize the one china policy. We don't have official diplomatic relationship with Taiwan , but many segments of government to the Japanese business federation (Keidenren) work closely with Taipei counterparts. In regards to Taiwan -- we follow a policy of : 漸進的発達. This means something to the line of Progress Collaboration.

One of the LDP members, Councillor Kishi Nobuo , who happens to be the younger brother of Prime Minister Abe, has authored a legislative bill to establish a Japan-Taiwan Relations Act. This would provide judicial, economic and to some extent political and military support to Taiwan.

When Xi Jinping speaks about a geopolitical issue, the army strikes! Looks like Taiwan DPP's days are numbered. A bloody purge will be coming for them spearheaded by PLA.

Look at Indian "strongman" Modi. He boasted about how the elephant was going to show the dragon its muscle. India ended up humiliated in Chumar.

Look at Japan. They tried to nationalize Diaoyu Island and in response China is doing air and naval patrols in Diaoyu Island territorial sea and territorial airspace. We already kicked Japanese military presence out of Diaoyu Islands with our submarines.

Look at Vietnam. They boasted about being the third most powerful military in the world. Instead China humiliated them with Platform 981 and intimidated them right on their doorstep.

Look at Philippines. They boasted what a terrific slave they are so USA will fight for them. Immediately, they lost Scarborough Shoal and Ayungin Shoal.

Look at South Korea. Used to be anti-China. Now they hate Japan even more so they must obey us [again].

The pattern is clear. PLA successfully delivered a series of humiliations to each adversary nation in our periphery. Now it's time to deal with Taiwan -- an old unresolved internal problem
