'Occupy' anti-capitalism protests spread around the world

^^ If I am correct Marx said that Communism will first happen in the industrialized nations like UK, but in reality Communism swept through peasant countries like Russia,China,Vietnam,Cuba etc. Is that itself shows the failure of Communism...but I had to give it you Communists, you will never in a million years accept that there is some fundamentally wrong in Communism. You will always argue that Stalin was wrong or the way it was implemented is wrong etc etc. There is a reason why countries that came out of Communism never went back to it, I think you should realize it why.

There was an incident that happened in my city some years ago. A Russian ballet team came to my city as a part of their tour. The CM of the Leftist Govt in power at that time gave a speech about how they miss the USSR. The upset Russian dancers later said to the media that people may miss USSR but it is them that they have to live under that oppressive system.

Yep, Marx predicted UK would become the first Communist contry , bcz the poor have to work very hard, and in very bad condition, but they still could not earn enough money for living life , but WW 2 changed every thing, UK got Richer after WW 2 , UK also give the poor more right, UK also got US support etc...so I thing US will be the first country turn in to Communist, not UK any more


I myself don't like my idiot Govt. and China Govt. also, bcz most of the leader had a very low education level from the begining, so, Both only know how to fight against each other , they don't know how to govern and develope well a country .btw: Vn and China still not industrialized countries, so we have No chance to turn to Communist .^^.

Things change in VN now (I don't know about China), the Govt. give people more rights , the leaders listen more to people's wish, and hope they will do more for the benefit of Vnese

Right to bear arms is a part of US Constitution. In countries like Pakistan owing an assault rifle is a part of their culture.Nobody is forcing anyone to buy Guns.

The poor in America is well off than middle class in some other countries. I don't remember seeing American poor fighting over a loaf of bread or a bowl of soup as is the case of many African/Asian countries.

Bro, Do Steve Job needs Gun ?why Rich people don't help poor people having higher education? then , people can invent many more good products for mankind instead of telling them to work in Gun factory to earn benefit ?

Encourage people of another country to keep killing each other is bad also, we have many way to develope the world. Such as teach thoese poor in Africa how to grow crop in advance tech. I think American also don't wanna see African buy their gun and kill each other. Only some greedy Rich love to do it

As for owning a gun. I don't own a gun or in that case even a machete..Why, as my neighbour also doesn't own one. Even the criminal gangs in my place doesn't use fire arms. Also laws in my place makes it very tough for me to own a gun, but thats not the case in many places of the world including many parts of my country. About Steve Jobs, how you know that he doesn't own a gun. If not him he may have bodyguards carrying them.

Also its not the job of individuals to provide education or healthcare...its the job of the Govt. Thats why they are collecting taxes on almost everything.

China-VietNam can have a tough laws about guns, so US can do it too , but the greedy rich just don't wanna do it, they want poor people keep killing each other so they can sell guns to get richer, and it's a crime against humanity.bcz of their greedy, lots of innocent American got killed by Taliban . if the Rich don't stop selling gun and encouraging people killing people, who knows one day Taliban will totaly destroy American and I think US citizen will not want it happend , so it'd better for them to stop those greedy guys now ^^

the govt. must assist people, not forcing people what to do . In Communist society , the Govt. is People 's employee, and people is boss , people need the govt. work for the benefit of them, not of some greed rich^^

Both China and Vietnam becoming socialist nations when we were both dirty poor and non-industrialized.

Today China following the economic reform of the capitalist is just to make us industrialized, like Marx said, the socialist nations should be developed from the rich industrialized nations.

After China is 100% finishing its industrialization, then we will surely go back to our socialist root.

They are trying so far (for 5 weeks) and still, they are being denied. The crowd , however, is growing by the day, spreading from city to city and the people are becoming more and more restless (and so are the police). I am worried about what the state might end up doing to the people when they reach its breaking point.

Your statement makes no sense. I pay taxes and Govt uses that taxes to build dams to generate power. Does that mean I should make claim to free power as my taxes went into power generation.

That is actually the only valid complaint they have: the double standard towards the Big Guys who lived beyond their means and were bailed out by taxpayer money.

Greece is "too big to be allowed to fail"

In other words, if you are big enough, you can get away with highway robbery.
