Haven't seen any working details on B3W, but sounds like knockoff of BRI. Pakistan is in the China camp....but Afghanistan will drag Pakistan into B3W initiatives, IMO. As long as it economic and development oriented it should be considered. Pakistan hasn't had good experiences getting entangled in USA military/strategic initiatives......these should be kept limited to counter terrorism, IMO.

. .
I see the original person asking the question is in the usa, what is his choice, still be in the usa or be in one of these supposed camps?

A bit hypocritical isn't it?

.
Unfortunately we are idiots
Either we r here or there

Countris like vietnam and bengaldesh will benefit with compwtition while we will sit in one camp
Be it USA camp in 1960-90s or china camp 2010---
Just compare Pakistan's development 1960-90s and 2010 to present. We were being openly called a failed state and became a laughing stock of the world as the 40 Western lackey thieves from Islamabad looted and pillaged and brought the country to a state of civil war to cover their tracks. But as always Allah saves the day. Pakistan should be open to all proposals and carefully consider all options but we should also make it clear to all parties that CPEC is not negotiable and is a permanent feature between two neighboring and brotherly countries. Neocon New world order was a new world disorder and brought immense suffering and pain all around. As the TRIPC countries align into formidable economic and military block the Western nations have little option other than bribe and divide key countries. Pakistan is a key nation and will no doubt face pressure to realign. But our trust has been shattered through Kashmir and Palestine and the attack on our sovereignty through Afghanistan.

. . .
b3w is for certain going to have strings attached plus it would be more complex than the hallucinations of a crack addicted prostitute, for example, with funding coming from a u.s. bank with labor coming from Italy with engineers coming from the uk with materials coming from germany with korea & japan also wanting a piece of the pie, it'll be a cluster fck of vested multi national interests with numerous interventionist strings attached while with China, OBOR provides a ONE STOP SHOP FOR EVEYTHING and that too, with no political preconditions of how to run your internal affairs. only a braindead suicidal retard that mistakens a toilet seat for a dining tray and mistakens cow dung for lunch would opt for w3b...
And don't forget the death squads, martial law and poverty all spin offs from colonial investment.

I actually think Pakistan is one of the countries being targeted by the USA in B3W. Announced terms are similar to ongoing discussions between USA and Pakistan on post Afghanistan withdrawal cooperation. Plus PMIK has been putting a lot of focus on green initiatives....recently issuing green bonds in western markets and asking for a green debt amnesty scheme. Looks like Biden's been listening and observing.

.
Pakistan has the tendency to choose the wrong side all the time.
you have spoken like a true house slave. but being the indian house slave that you are, I don't blame you for not realizing that nations like Pakistan don't choose sides, they create sides.
And don't forget the death squads, martial law and poverty all spin offs from colonial investment.
agreed. nations like france forbid african nations that got freedom from them for even taking loans from any other banks except for french.

. . .
Western investment comes with all that human rights bullshit, than they wants to change your educational curriculum, turning your own kids against your country, all that NGO bullshit too....... Better to stay far away from them.
wise words of advice...end of the day, b3w will be more of the same old same old western tactic of removing honest leaders, instilling corrupt governments & then giving billions in loans to those corrupt governments that will gobble the money up and leave that nation enslaved to the west with no way of paying that loan off and no development to show for that loan.

It is absolutely good news that the G7 is trying to match China OBOR with their development plan.
I doubt it is unanimously adopted wholeheartedly.

It will be good for many undeveloped nations. Their motivation is only to outdo the growing Chinese influence.

Observe China don't seems to give a damn and these infrastructures are costly and China cannot do it alone. Now G7 jumps into the wagon. It is great. Howover I suspects it will only be financial engineering more than real constructions.

Although IMO and based on US and Western track record, it may simply a waste of time and like the Tsuinami relief fund in Acheh, it will soon be forgotten and the money pledged never arrived after the photo session.

Like what they say in Texas.
All hat and no cattle.

the western w3b isn't even born yet, still just an idea on paper while OBOR is tried and true. as I said, when w3b is finally born, it'll be a cluster fck of colliding multi national interests, insane amounts of beaurocratic red tapes and a spaghetti bowl of attached strings and black mailing...China will be wise say "bring it on" to w3b as it is already ahead in the game while threatening sanctions against the west just as they threaten everyone else. let's face it...u.s. & e.u. need everything including rare earth metals like titanium from China while China really needs nothing from u.s. & e.u.

where are all the western cheerleaders & house slaves along with their masters like @Hamartia Antidote, @Jackdaws & @F-22Raptor ??? c'mon guys, your slaving team mates like @colonel rajesh & @Protest_again are gettin' butchered here!

Like they say, the more the merrier.

But it will be a half hearted efforts for most G7 members.

Look at Italy for instance, if they have the funds they would rather invest it on themselves.

That will be more realistic.
