Obama: ‘We gave Iraq the chance to have an inclusive democracy’

US did the same in Afghanistan, Vietnam, so why should Iraq be any difference.....they always leave the ground open for Power Players to come and Join in, what they dont realize is in this part of the World, Join in means, fighting a war for Power, the power hungry leaders, each of them try to get that centralized power seat.....

@IsaacNewton what a great reason and escape goat for an Attack, that destroyed thousands of Innocent Families, child's, their business and their Lives, why a single American make you to leave 5 top Most Talibans ... because that is american citizen, and a death of American , Israeli or brit. citizen Cost a lot much than other Nationals as they are their peasants... why is that so, same rule should be apply to every one, and any where... they are counting the death of their soldiers that are two thousand and odd, but they dont care of Pakistani around 70,000 soldiers and thousands of other Innocent people martyred coz of this... my sincere advice to you is stop this all on the verge of your think tanks that are sitting comfortably holding your Banks, big Corporations, Federal Reserve Bank, Catholic Church (who is as Trust, is the Wealthiest of all the Corp., Banks etc) controlled by Zionist... as each and every American is under immense debt that they couldn't get out of in centuries... so what you u r teaching, and what you r having... Claiming something, and getting some thing in return... every think in deceptive manner,,,, nothing else....

@balixd they done with Afghanistan and again after assuming it was their fault to left Afghan on Pak or their Taliban's hand was worst decision, then again they made a reason of 9/11 deception and entered again, and in that occurrence, they made Afghan's Neighbors life also hell like Pakistan, China and Iran.. so it was hardly entered in Iran, but every one know what they did with Pakistan... so hope they will not follow that again, & in contrast they will going to do the same in Iraq....so Iran and turkey are on stake

Iraq needs a leader like Saddam who rules the country with an iron fist, otherwise the ethnic tension will arise leading to civil war and chaos.

It was Saddam's "iron fist" that got Iraq into its petiful position in the first place. Moreover, by the time the US decided to remove regime, Iraq was already a broken state, with the Kurds rebelling, Shia's moving further into Iran's embrace and the main regime bitten by the loss of two costly wars, followed by sanctions.

I believe the Americans wanted to go in with the view to denying the other more problematic challengers to the Baathist regime from taking over.
