Obama voters, Muslims need not apply for gun course

I knew you would hijack this thread to spew propaganda about evil Muslims to somehow justify this guy's actions.

Didn't know that calling someone a ****head equals justifying someones actions:cheesy:

This is the bible belt they do much more compared to this petty thing

You could have done that without bringing in Muslim examples. You're not fooling anyone.

Nope my point was that the door swings both ways. So save us your usual Muslim victimization guilt trips. And please go ahead and post similar incidents about Hindus and Sikhs too.

There are oddballs in every race, religion, country.

Spare me the self-righteousness. You used the opportunity, as usual, to spew anti-Muslim venom. All in the name of denouncing this guy.

And, no, I am not going to sink to your level and engage in religious mud-slinging.

Just ignore him. He is known to call anyone who doesn't agree with him as an "anti-Muslim troll".

On topic, we have such oddballs residing everywhere in the world. The best would be to ignore such people and not give him and his gun course the attention that he was searching for.

Oh, he undoubtedly doesn`t like Muslims but it`s his right as an American to not like Muslims and not allow them to train in his facility. As many don`t like different people from different places.

what if muslims start same thing in turkey against jews, their right/111111111, hurrah, !!!!!!!!!!

Keller said he is simply exercising his freedom to teach concealed handgun license classes to whomever he wants.

Does that really stand? If he is supposed to provide services, he cannot stop anyone who has the right to get one. It is clear case of discrimination based on religion, ethnicity, nationality, and political beliefs.

Can anyone who is good with the US laws please shed more light on this case whether this man can be prosecuted on the grounds of unlawful discrimination?

And how did I do that? Did I say that all Muslims are like that?

You guys go ahead and question the freedom of speech and the hypocrisy of western countries.

Cause you know this one red neck, and the other idiots like him are the representatives of their society and countries.

Anyways sorry for spoiling your Muslim victimhood party. You guys go ahead and question the freedom of speech and the hypocrisy of western countries.

No victimhood involved. I called you out on your repeated tendency to post anti-Muslim trash by hijacking topics.

Like I wrote, you could have made your point without posting similar activities by Muslims. What this guys is doing is wrong, regardless of what others are doing.

Now you're on to another rant about freedom of speech. This topic has nothing to do with freedom of speech.

The guy will probably loose his license.

As the Southern Poverty Law Center’s HateWatch blog noted, “It’s not clear whether this type of discrimination is lawful,” as business owners have considerable discretion in whom they serve. The Texas Department of Public Safety, which certifies individuals to teach concealed handgun lessons, said discrimination puts instructors’ certification at risk of “suspension or revocation,” but that they need a formal complaint with evidence before they can act.

Please go back to the first page, and read the first post.

Here I ll quote it for you.

so when its about demonizing muslims its "right of free speech"....as usual

And no, I could not have made my point without giving examples, cause that exactly was my point, that there are idiots everywhere.

You're right, it's a clear case of discrimination.

Technically, it's against the law to refuse to provide services to someone on the basis of race/religion etc. However, there are a LOT of loopholes in all legal systems, and I'm sure this guy covered himself beforehand by checking it first.

It's illegal and he knows it's illegal. However, he can only be prosecuted if someone actually shows up and he refuses service. Simply saying "don't come" is probably not illegal.

This is a publicity and marketing stunt. Most likely he lives in a locality where the majority of the population agree with his views anyway, and he will get lots of fellow rednecks as customers because he is "taking a stand".

Yep, these types of attention seekers are usually experts with legal loopholes.

It's very easy to check the laws in any country simply by using the internet, and/or posting in a legal advice forum.

Yup, it is so ridiculously wrong, he would have to be a complete moron not to know, and this guy deosn't sound like a moron. He's a shrewd businessman and it's a marketing stunt. He is probably hoping that it will generate phone calls on local media so he can get more exposure.

The Arab/Muslim angle is actually just a sidenote. The big one is 'socialists' and 'Obama voters'. How is he going to know if someone voted for Obama?
