so what obama says is correct if pakistan is using the money for not the purpose what it is intended for then the aid should be stopped.

All of this has been taken out of perspective. Obama is merely reiterating an established fact that Pakistan is diverting US funds provided to fight terror in west Pakistan to build up against India. It does not mean Pakistan is plotting a war.

This is all well and good. But the US is donating funds so that Pakistan can fight the militancy. If the PA and the PAF wants to tackle a percieved Indian threat, then they are more than welcome to buy anything they want at full price with their own funds; I don't think there's an embargo in place.

This was published by INDIAN media sometimes back few months back much before the recent land transfer issue in Kashmir.

As the world has seen that common Kashmiris rose against India neferious designs of India to change the demography of Kashmir by transfering Kashmiri land to Indians leading to Palistine like settelment of Hindus in Kashmir to change the demography, after the uprising by Kashmiri people the UN and US also have taken note of Indian brutalities and asked for prob and halt to terror by India.

As India is in troubled waters over Kashmir, The INDIA media has come up with idea of floating an old statement associated with Obama to publish it again so that India could have some face saving.


Look at this propaganda item. Read it 100 times and you will come to know there is only one thing and that is "He said"

He said and he said.

There is no mention of the date, the day and the place where Obama said that. All these points are part of a true news report which are missing in this item making it clear that it is again INDIAN propaganda but a cheap one to re-publish an old statement and pretend as if Obama has said it today i.e Sep 5.

Washington: Accusing Pakistan of misusing the massive American aid to fight the war on terror, Democratic nominee for the US Presidential election Barack Obama, in a sensational comment, has said Islamabad was using these funds for "preparing for a war against India".


Senator Obama vowed to hold Islamabad accountable for the massive military aid it has received from Washington if he is elected to the White House. He said his administration will increase pressure on the Pakistan to come to terms with terrorist safe havens along its northern border with Afghanistan.


"What we can do is stay focused on Afghanistan and put more pressure on the Pakistanis," Senator Obama said in an interview with Fox News.


He noted that the US was providing Pakistan military aid "without having enough strings attached".

What utter nonsense is this. Obama will make Islamabad accountable....over what? Obama like all others will too come to realization that without Pakistan US is going nowhere in Afghanistan, he wants to nut prick Pakistan, he is more then welcome to do it but should remember the consequences of that specially when Russia has threaten to stop the logistic support that is going on through russia in afghanistan.

These days i seriously wish for some hardliners to form the next government in Pakistan. I am sick of these liberal bastards.

you don't understand what he is saying haan. The money is given as aid for some purpose. If you want o fight a war better pay the right price for the equipments, nothing else

Pakistan can buy as many F-16 's as it wants, India already has world class fighters to counter this. Also most F-16's in Pak inventory are not up to date.

Moreover, India's MRCA deal will nullify what ever miniscule effect it has.

The point here is, it is a disgrace that Pakistan is using economic aid money, that should be used to curb inflation and feed the poor, to buy weapons.

This is a national disgrace for any country, which members of this forum do not realize.

Weapons should be bought from the alloted defence budget, if required increase the budget and buy weapons. Every country has its own perception of defence and has the soverign right to prepare accordingly.

But doing this with the economic aid money is not wise. Such matters are circulating world over and will have long term effect. If pakistan continues this, it may not receive aid in future, and that could be a big problem.

If you come up with proofs then good and well otherwise such statments are result of upset stomach being propagated by elements to get attention during election times, while the Likes of Indian media spin such statments without proofs to sail its own boat through own blunders.
