NYT: India warned Sri Lanka of terror attack several times

Since, he was kidnapped from Iran, you shall ask, for all the privileges, from that country; since they failed to provide proper protection to your citizen.
Who would be scared of a country like India? It is a joke.
Than provide the consular access.

Than provide the consular access.

I am not commenting on it; since I am not fully aware of the laws, international as well as local, applicable to this case. In any case, I think, you have already gone to ICJ, for the purpose. So, let us await for its decision.

.
I doubt that such a piece of precise information was not acted upon by Sirilankans? I doubt that such intelligence was shared otherwise the results would have been different ...

. .
Wasn't the internationally known terrorist Modi found in India?
No boss, just because you call him terrorist doesn't mean the whole world will agree with you. Get out of your home occasionally. You are not the center of the world. Your dictum doesn't work beyond your room.

Should it matter to you what others think of your PM? Perhaps. But should it not matter to India what Indian's think of their PM? Is he NOT known as the butcher of Gujrat? Was he not involved in the massacre of Muslims, innocent civilians, Indians??

And why was he banned from travelling to the US until he became the PM of India?

Well all we can do is doubt.

One man's terrorist is another man's hero.
Why he was banned isn't a concern as he is the Prime Minister now and he sits at the high table with other world leaders including the aaka of Pakistan, Xi Jinping.

BTW, Xi Jinping is called an authoritarian dictator by the west who confiscates Muslim property and forces Muslims to eat Pork in the Xinjiang region. The same west which banned Modi once.
I think Pakistan should be more concerned about that. But anyways who cares right?

You do what you have to do. We do what we have to.

That is true of freedom fighters, the bit about one man's hero another man's terrorist. However, how can any mass murderer of innocent children, women, the elderly and sick be a hero?

They are making Muslims eat port, allegedly (as I don't have any proof of that) but NOT executing them or maiming them with pellet guns, are they?

And yet the entire Muslim world, not just Turkey, must raise its concerns with China over the treatment of Muslims in the restive part of China; and that includes Pakistan.

Second team of NTJ terrorists ready for bombing, Indian officials tell Lanka

The National Thowheeth Jamaath (NTJ), the little known group blamed for the bombing of churches and hotels in Sri Lanka on Sunday, appears to have been inspired by Islamic State (IS) though direct links between the two are yet to be established, people familiar with developments said on Monday.

India is helping Sri Lanka probe the attacks with “technical and intelligence” support, and Indian security agencies are watching a Tamil Naidu-based cleric, the people said.

The attacks by suicide bombers, which killed 310, had all the hallmarks of the IS that has targeted Christians on their holy days, experts and security officials said. Since May last year, IS has claimed responsibility for attacks on churches in Indonesia and the Philippines.

The NTJ was formed in Kattankudy, a Muslim-dominated town in eastern Sri Lanka, in 2014. Its founder Zahran Hashim alias Abu Ubaida is believed to have been the suicide bomber who targeted Shangri-La Hotel with military grade explosives.

Indian counterterror experts described the NTJ as a self-radicalised Salafi group inspired by the IS, though a link between the two is yet to be established. They said a number of Sri Lankan Muslims who recently flew back from Qatar had been arrested for their alleged role in the bombings.

According to SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors jihadi groups, IS supporters were celebrating the attacks, and one supporter had released photographs of three attackers, calling them “commandoes”.

India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval too spoke to the Sri Lankan leadership. However, given the political sensitivities, India will provide only backend support rather than being proactive in bringing the terrorists to book, the officials said.

The officials said Indian security agencies had alerted Sri Lanka that another NTJ team led by Jal al-Quital alias Rilwan Marzag could carry out more attacks. Noufar Moulvi, brother-in-law of Hashim, recently returned to Sri Lanka from Qatar and had taken charge of the group, they added.

The Tamil Nadu-based cleric under watch by security agencies and the Tamil Nadu Towheed Jamaat (TNTJ) do not have any direct links with terrorism, officials said. “They have no links acts to terror but we have reason to believe that they contributed to radicalisation,” an officer said.

The TNTJ denied any links with the Sri Lanka-based group.“We do not have any association with any Towheed of any other state or country. We are an independent organisation,” said TNTJ general secretary Abdul Rahman.

1. It only matters if U.N or security council like org. think of P.M, you and your country`s opinion not at all.
2. What Indian thinks also doesnot matter, what matters is supreme court verdict.
3. No he not known as butcher of Gujarat, may be in Pakistan , not here.
4.No he was not involved and there is no proof to substantiate that claim. Read no. 2 point
