Scandinavia the beautiful...

J'adore nutella
I personally don't like nutella that much.. Mostly I avoid it since it is tooo sweet for me.. my favorites are musli, oatmeal with St. Dalfour marmalades without added sugar, berries, royal gala apples ...

Well it's true. My kids love it,despite all the sh*ts there's in there. I also love it,but I try to limit the consumption. There was a big discount on 950g jars (Only €1,40) so obviously, people used this opportunity to buy lot of it,many parents just wanted to please their kids. The fights you've seen happened mainly in relatively poor areas with high unemployment rates.....

Like how many jars do people need?

Definitely not my thing, but I know the product seems to be very popular the world over.

Also a bit surprised as well. I view the French in general as being very calm and civilized.

Few incidents with dozens of persons..... everydays I go to stores, even during discounts periods and I've never witnessed such things honestly.

Maybe in the regions where there are many poor people?

In a first world country like France this kind of riot is very surprising. But what the poor fellow can do when they can get 70% discount on such a delicious item.
Personally I like Nutela very much don't know what would I didn't if it offer in Bangladesh. :-)

I have always dreamt of a Nutella riot. Now finally it has happened.
What will happen if global coco production goes down rapidly, I can only imagine that the death and destruction will be greater than all the wars combined.

The fights you've seen mainly happened in some stores in northern France. Poverty and unemployment rates are above the national average because of the deindustrialization. Also, northern France has actually the youngest population of France.

Those scenes happened in areas where many people have limited ressources. A heavy discounted products that can improve the ordinary, for the children for exemple, can create this kind of behaviour, sadly. That can be understandable, but ending fighting for it is a bit sad.
