Yes Pakistan didnt have anything to deter Israel with, but how would Israel have destroyed Pakistans nuclear infrastructure?? Their planes clearly didn't have the range, remember Iraq was much closer to Israel than Pakistan is.

I think they had some planes..or mughtbe as you saythey needed Indians bases to do that,and India wasnt ready to do that.

Thats what i was also saying,they dont have the range and they might have asked for Indias bases,which india didnt want to give and hence the plan was called off.

I dont know what cookbook you get your information from....but Pakistan tested the Ghauri Missile in March 1998. It then tested the Shaheen only a day after the first Nuclear tests . Both these missiles clearly had the range and the warheads to deter Israel if they ever wanted to attack. Israel is not threatened by Pakistan . The Only enemy of Pakistan is india!

Dude, the Israeli F-15 or BAAZ do have Air to Air refueling pods. Besides its not the F-15s that they would use, but the F-16 (SUFA) , like they used in Iraq to bomb Osirak. The F-15s would at the most just provide and escort to the bomb laden SUFAs.

So you think Pakistan has already mastered their nuke design and was successful in miniaturzing their warhead, mated them with the missiles in 1998??

Having a nuclear bomb does not correspond nuke tipped missiles. 2 different things.

Sig, the F-15s had enough range to attack Iraq, but not iran. I believe Israel is going to use Cruise Missiles if its going to launch an attack on Iran. Furthermore......the F-15's and SUFAs,if need be can always refuel in Iraq.
