We have problems with india water and boundary deal. Any religious enmity isnt important to me.
Get the fact right. India is our enemy. India alaways wanted to see its neighbors week. It helps them to portray its states that they cant go well without indian grace.
India is alaways a suspicious country as it engulfed many sovereign territories in Its area.
Now agree or not we are much dependant on india food to fuel. And they have those dams which can flood bd any day or dry those western rivers.
And the superior fighting power and intelligence agencies. India can use these assets to BD any day.
BD is an asset to India as its getting more than $10 bl and increasing amount of money every year from BD. BD has the capability to keep the insurgency in NE and more can do with the help of china.
So india doesnt want any anti india or dont care GoB. India will do everything to keep a pro india gov. Now these pro gov can do many things to progress in river and boundary deals. And also keep strengthening relation with anti india and other world powers. Seeing a pro gov india wont intervene in bd matters and bd will have stronger economy and military. Which BD can utilize later.
Now if a neutral gov or anti india gov comes to power. India wont keep the good relation and use its assets against BD to destabilize situation. Remember their story on illegal bd immigrants. They will push those people inside bd and stop the food supplies and engineer the river water flow.
Right now bd cant afford these. Keeping these issues aside we have to focus on development and friendly relation even we have to consider some of our interests. Its will be helpful for long term achievement.
