I'm not a Pakistani, but I think that it is okay for me to post in here, as I'm not opposing Pakistan or want to troll here.

I think I agree with you, Eagle. Trump merely to test the water and produce a pressure to Pakistan. I think the reason is because they (US) feel that their strategic position in South Asia is being threatened by the recent events. Like the cooperation of China - Iran - Pakistan. So I think that Pakistan should be aware and carefully respond to this threat. Because as always US is a master of bringing chaos to a region. They will do everything they could to jeopardized Chinese plan in the region (the Pakistan - Iran - China cooperation). And they won't stop just with Trump tweeting or on table meeting. Specially when there is a wild horse like India that also oppose China and Pakistan.
In my observation, unlike other parties at receiving end from US, we have been dealing them since long and during all these years of co-operation/alliance, we too have gained a lot of lesson as well as understanding about any type of Trump Misadventure in Pakistan.
If we look at all the development and current situation, you will find out that these alliances or regional blocks are not formed merely in one night or week or even in month but takes efforts throughout years by establishing new ties and relations especially with countries like Russia that we use to be in lock horns against other. Not just Pakistan but other regional always see it coming as there were patterns to understand as how US policy is shifting its interest and what it really wants in region for individual interests/gains while not benefiting the region at all.
Pakistan-China-Russia and Iran close co-operation and forming of a regional block as a starter is not something based upon perceptions or suggestions but it was actually cited to counter growing influence of any single party. We have Turkiye on board along with many other nations and vice-versa.
India's role is pretty clear and visible to all regional powers especially since signing of India-US LEMOA and a bit of ambitions as disclosed by Nikki Haley openly as well. Our neighbor is newly appointed by the D.C to contain China-Pakistan while fighting US war through Afghanistan and during the same stream of unrest, US will be containing Russia as support for proxies is already on high level in Afghanistan. The game plan, as it appears to me, is like kill many with one stone (proxies in Afghanistan) as to use this option against Pakistan, China and Russia in the same time. US never hails the peace otherwise wouldn't have been hunting Taliban leadership that shown interest into Afghan Peace Talks. Pentagon always aired a balloon of peace talks, made Taliban come open and as planned killed them which tells a-lot about US peace interest into Afghanistan, the whole region or at any other land at all.
The ambition and dreams of hostile agencies against Pakistan are all well understood by us and are visible to be aware of though, it is only the counter tactics from Pakistan end that will decide the punch which will knock-out the cancer or may loose if ineffective.
Beside all above observation that comes next as firstly, US knows Pakistan importance and need for them in this region especially for a graceful walk out of Afghanistan which is not possible without us. However, the US blame game will continue on screen for consumption of her anti-Pakistan friends but things behind doors are discussed on different level with more maturity as compare to Trump-rant.
