What's new

Now, Sena targets mosques over loudspeakers

Wrong pal UK Asians are born here ie the 2nd gen ones so they are part of society and culture! not immigrants
Still does not compare to centuries old(from 12th century) roots of Muslims in India, not to mention Muslim population in India is more than that of UK & USA combined.

hey mehboobkz why dont u change ur flags?

And do hindus pray 5 times a day? do they have a Call for prayers?

Also in Pakistan hindus are free to do watever they like.

Tht enough for u?Hope u got ur answer.

.
Would GCC and Pakistan allow amplified bhajan kirtans five times a day? 7000 watts whopping sound?

Lets be fair....
Well if there were 161 million Hindus living in Pakistan then who knows what they would have been allowed to say on speakers but the fact is in Pakistan they are in very small numbers as compared to the Muslims in India and please learn to make sense out of your questions or comparisons

Pakistani hindus are free to do what they like only as long as they remain in the shadow of Pakistani muslims and their blasphemy laws.

Don't show your fascist mentality, Sir. You can't tolerate a simple argument and you are talking about freedom to Hindu minority in Pakistan? Sir, we all are aware how free Hindus are in Pak to do whatever they can.

For centuries muslims have not used loudspeakers. Its a modern twist and noise pollution problem in urban environment and relevant laws is a modern twist too. Why are you trying to give a different color to a simple problem?

I'm against every kind of noise pollution, infact I stopped bursting crackers during Diwali when I was in 9th standard for the same reason. I'm against puja pandals not following these norms too. Now don't ask me how long hindus have lived in India, its irrelevant.

.
Their constitution explicitly states that a non-muslim cannot be the PM/President of Pakistan.

Speaks loads about the second class citizenship that Pakistani hindus are subjected to.

. .
Population does not matter as your comparing a large populas nation with a billion people to a tiny island which has a population of 60 million. The point here is that those speakers break noise pollution laws and whether it is Islamic, Hindu, Sikh or any other religion it is illegal but India is too weak a nation to enforce its own laws so this type of thing will continue.

In UK we have proper noise pollution laws and the council enforces them, this type of thing will never happen where I live.
Large population matters a lot when you talk about Democracy. Isn't Democracy about the rights of the people & freedom to profess their respective religions? Its not about sound pollution or such excuses it's more about getting on the band wagon with the western world to deprive Muslims of their rights, today its the speakers tomorrow it will be minarets, then mosques them selves(oh wait. remember babri mosque?).........

Doesn't matter a bull. Question is has democracy in India matured enough to see a Muslim as Prime Minister?

Your rights end where my nose(or in this case ears!) begins.

@Abir: Of course. What makes you think it hasn't?

If a Muslim can be the president i.e. the CinC of our armed forces.
If a muslim can head our air force.
If a muslim can head our army's command in Kashmir.
If a muslim can give us our N-bombs and the missiles to deliver them.
If a muslim can be the vice-president.
If a muslim can be the chief of our premier defence research agency.
If a muslim can be awarded the Param Vir Chakra.

Why the hell can't a muslim be the PM?

Hindus have no fix timings, so if they do it 5 times, whats the problem - can they or they cant?

Also in Pakistan hindus are free to do watever they like.

What kind of fairy tail is this?

Tht enough for u?Hope u got ur answer.

India is a secular country as US-UK,EU but see the stark difference....Amplified azan not allowed in US-UK-EU.

Supreme court of India has said no loudspeakers before 6 AM.....while mosques start the same at 5 AM, flouting supreme court of India.

Why?

. .
What about other bajans, kirtans etc which are played in loud speakers, are they illegal too?
